Other uses for old golf balls

Hope this gives you something to smile about today and take your mind off more stressful things.

I have a plant that has become too large for my house so I decided to move it outside today. It was root bound so I needed to cut and loosen up the roots so they would be free to grow better. I had a good laugh when encased in the root tentacles I found and rescued 14 golf balls. I now remember a years ago (long before I started playing golf 5 years ago) I couldn't find any rocks around my house to put in the bottom of this plant's pot to aid with drainage. Being I live with a family of golfers, I did find a couple of shoe boxes in the garage full of shag balls. I snatched a couple of inches for the pot and over the years my plant obviously embraced some of them!

This is one of several uses I have discovered for golf balls other than trying to keep them in the fairway.
