Nolan220
This was great, all of the ball test that Tony has done is amazing. The conclusion I came up with I don't think there is anyone that loves testing golf balls more then Tony. silver & black 1 Quote Speedzone Driver Tensei AV Blue or G400 SFT 10. Blueberry_Squishie
From the last No Putts Given episode they wanted people to send in suggestions. If they are going to publish any sorts of tables etc. it should also have an option for metric measurements. Jarederco
I may have missed something somewhere, but why is Tony putting the balls in an incubator?

I would guess he is attempting to replicate the temperature/humidity at time of manufacture so that the ball is as close to the factory environment as possible. It takes away a potential Avenue of escape by an OEM where they could say the ball would test different at the factory because of temperature/humidity. The purpose is to make sure that environmental variables are as consistent as possible to accurately isolate what is being measured without contamination. Keeping balls in a climate controlled room giving the balls time to properly acclimate is likely good enough, but the incubator approach is the next level in consistency that reinforces MGS’ commitment to testing. Many standard tests in the rubber/polymer industry have the requirement that samples are stored and/or tested at precise temperature and humidity as the results can be effected pretty strongly by both. For Tony's results to have the most impact, he pretty much needs to follow a procedure like he is.
