There is a Texas Golf Hall of Fame because there have been so many great golfers from this state.

One of the greatest female athletes of all time Babe Didrikson is a golfer from Texas.

I was on a business trip to Paducah shortly after I took up golf.  I went to a driving range to hit a few balls and got an unsolicited lesson from a coach of Russ Cochran.  

BTW, best pork chop I have ever had was at Patti's.  🐖
