Golfspy_CG2
My main ones are Alex Etches-Hace spent some time with him at the past two PGA Shows. Very likeable guy, and just as funny off camera as on. TXG-obviousky a bit biased after getting the Red Caroet treatment from them. But waa s fan before that thanks to @jlukes bringing them up here MGS-OK while not instructional the NPG episodes are very good. Michael Newton-Love his swing, as a tall guy myself. Chizzle
Rick shiels seems to be a clear winner and I like him too as well as James Robinson but I really like what top speed golf has to say too. To me, Clay Ballard is really easy to understand and is the one person that had me try to change my swing just a little bit. Edited May 24, 2020 by Chizzle Quote Link to comment
tchat07
I have slowly made my way through most of those listed. I started following Me and My Golf 5 years ago which got me into Rick Shiels who then got me into Peter Finch. Peter Finch is now my guy because I like following along as he tries to improve his own game. I also have been following Bryan Bros golf a lot during quarantine because they've been putting out a lot of content.Sent from my SM-G950U using MyGolfSpy mobile app Quote Link to comment

russtopherb
I don't bother watching YT for instruction at this point, it's definitely more for entertainment. I stumbled across Saguto Golf today and he's definitely entertaining! His videos seem to be a bit long, but pretty enjoyable and a fun watch. I'm more of a fan of those types of channels - Fried Eggs and Stacked Golf are in that category for me along with Golf Sidekick. I still subscribe to TXG, Crossfield, Finch, Clement, Monte, etc. but I find myself watching those videos less and less. LeftyRM7
TXG - Great data driven testing content.Mark Crossfield - Still by far my favorite, love his approach to coaching and being a real student of the game. I learn more watching him and Lockey work their way around the course and have fun than a hundred “quick swing tip” videos.Dan Hendriksen - Very much still an extension of Crossfield, but great course vlogs, especially when he includes his students.James Robinson - Seems like a great guy, some of his content is great, some of it not so much.Chris Dennis - Great short game coach, lots of short & sweet content to help your game around the greens.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment

GolfSpy AFG
TXG is good, I'm surprised Me and My Golf isn't getting a little more love here. Crossfield seems to me to be genuinely trying to stay in front of trends in the YouTube channel business, and I would say that he's one of the more relatable ones in that his numbers with his clubs, what he's looking for when he plays, etc., are all pretty relatable to the "average golfer" (granted, whatever that is). Shiels lost me a while ago. It seems to me that everything he hits is a tamed hook, for one. But what I really can't stand is the variety show style he's doing lately. I think I saw last week he was playing a mixed bag based on subscriber votes for what he should play. How in the hell is that useful to me, in the slightest? I suppose if you get on golf YouTube videos purely for entertainment purposes that's fine, but for me I'm trying to learn something...not necessarily about my own swing but just about the game of golf. sroel908
Golf Sidekick is my go-to right now. As a higher handicapper, I appreciate the re-focusing of my game to forget about the par on the scorecard. Instead, I can work to manage the course to my skills and abilities, practice and get comfortable with 2 or 3 clubs to boost confidence, etc. His videos are more about the mental side of the game and staying stress-free and relaxed on the course. It's really helping me greatly in that side of things, and I have been enjoying golf much more than I ever have before. ctandc
I'm building one this weekend. 1.5" PVC pipes with a UV mesh tarp from Harbor Freight. Actual hitting area will be 8x8. Total cost under $100. A buddy has this setup and he hits driver and all clubs into it. He leaves it outside in the weather. It's already lasted longer than the "name brand" golf nets he's tried over the last few years. I'm going to add this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00656BCLO/?coliid=II1D3OAQI1FVD&colid=70DKHVVEOF61&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it To hit off off and use some indoor / outdoor carpeting to stand on while hitting. cnosil 1 Quote Driver: XR Speed 9º Project X HZRDUS T800 Stiff 3W : G 14.5º - Tour 80 stiff Hybrid: G25 20º - TFC-189H stiff Irons: 4-UW G30 Green Dot Wedges: LW G30 Black Dot Putter: Dual Force Rossie II Link to comment
