The jet black finish is nice. I have yet to use  it on the course but I think I will like it coming from the gunmetal Cleveland’s.

I think my dad still has a set of the RAC OS floating around. Those were solid irons.

I really like the BXS. I have tried the new one and will probably switch soon as my stock of the older version is dwindling. Not the longest ball, but the feel around the green and with the putter is great.

I have made a few changes to the bag, I sold my driver as we weren't getting along very well. I'm also looking to make a few more changes as well. I love the SM8 k grind low bounce in most situations but really soft bunkers and this fall when the ground was rather wet I feel more bounce would have been beneficial. Might try a 60 degree S grind.

Since I sold my driver I have been using my 16.5 TS2 off the tee. Fortunately at my home course a driver is not needed and only beneficial on a few holes, and I hit my fairway wood very straight off the tee so being in the fairway is always a plus. As for the driver I have been testing a few options out. I picked up a DJ Fujikura speeder 661 evo 2.0 shaft over the summer and really liked it in the SIM 10* head, and I'm also trying it out right now in a Callaway Mavrik, which I don't think I like as much as the SIM. Since I have 2 of the same shaft I'm going to put a titleist tip on the one and hopefully compare the new TSi3 to the SIM, and hopefully have a keeper by spring time.

Picked up some drivers and shafts to finally do some testing to finalize what I'll be putting in the bag. I've got a Taylormade Sim 10.5 with two shaft options, a fuji speeder evolution 661 2.0 tour spec (DJ spec) and an Atmos Tour Spec  black 7x.

I also picked up a TSi3 10 with Ventus black 6x velocore, and another DJ fuji speeder evo 661 2.0.

Hoping for a few nice days before winter really sets in up here in the northeast, otherwise I'll be headed to an indoor sim to try these out.

Quick update on the bag.

I think I’m going to stick with the black ventus in my TSi3 driver, but I finally got around to throwing a titleist adapter on the speeder 661, so I should be able to test that out soon. The ventus is just an awesome shaft so I don’t see it being kicked out of the bag.

The real update, I got my hands on a ventus 7x to try in my 3w and so far it’s a keeper. Didn’t think I would get rid of the Motore speeder shaft I had in my TS2 16.5 but the ventus gives me much better feel and control of what the club is doing. And it also seems to produce less spin, the Motore would balloon easily on thinner strikes.
I also have added a TS2 7w with ventus Red 9x. I’ve been wanting to try the 7 wood craze and I have heard awesome things about this shaft in a 7 wood. Come spring time we will see if it stays in the bag!

Update to the bag... currently testing a set of RAC blades with X100s. Although I really like the feel of the modus 125X, I think they are just a tad too stiff for me. If I end up liking them I'll probably update my miuras with x100s., or maybe just game the RAC blades???

The rest of the bag...

TSI3 10 with ventus black 6x, TS2 16.5 ventus black 7x, TS2 21 ventus red 9x, ping glide 3.0 wedges, and my putter is an odyssey tri hot #1, which I gamed last year so Ill start the year off with it but been I've practicing with a Cameron Futura inside as of late.
