I was thinking expensive shafts would be spined wrong. I have a red going in a 3 wd. Anyone know the orientation.  Thanks

Label down. Pretty much the standard for graphite shafts these days.

PX HZRDUS line is pretty round - you might feel a spine in a spine finding device, but it won't make a difference in playing performance, since the difference between the hard and the soft side of a high end graphite shaft these days is very small. I remember old Alidla NV Green days, where you could find shafts with a difference of 15cpm from the soft to the hard side of a shaft - with a modern high end graphite shaft, you will have troubles finding more than 2cpm.

Long story short - installing them logo down is most likely a good way to go.

Cheers,

Michael

Whether you believe in performance improvements or not, if you choose to spine align a
Shaft, the won’t be in the same spot for every shaft. You would have to test the shaft to find a spine.

Does spine alignment help? Don’t know, I would like to try it, and it probably wouldn’t make the club perform any worse.

Label down. Forget the spine and go with what looks the best for you to have confidence. Manufacturing tolerances on premium shafts are very tight these days.

Sasho MacKenzie and Andrew Rice did a Instagram about a week ago and at the very end Sasho MacKenzie was asked about his tests regarding spine aligning.

Sasho found that there is absolutely no correlation to spine position and strokes gained. He said don't waste your money

but it's only $30.....per club......at Club Champion!!!! I love their fittings, not so much their pricing on builds
