cciciora13
Although dunking a bunker shot would be cool; driving a par 4 is awesome. You don't always get the opportunity to putt for eagle on a Par 4 and if you make the putt then it really helps your scorecard! palvord
I went with making a putt over 40ft because that could be a score saver (long par saving putt) or a score changer dropping it for a birdie or eagle. Plus, even if I drive a par 4 in one, or reach a par 5 in two, what's to prevent me from 3 putting and losing all advantage gained. GolfSpy BOS
Of the options... Make a putt over 40 ft Punch through a tunnel in the trees Drive a par 4 in 1 Reach a par 5 in 2 Dunk a bunker or chip shot (If by Dunk you mean literally into the cup then no... but I've chipped in a few times) Having done these all at some point in time... Driving a par 4 in 1 is the most exciting. I did it one time last year and there's something special about it. Maybe it's watching the rest of your group hit second and maybe even third shots before needing a putter, or knowing you have an eagle putt coming. Shankster
I went with drive a Par 4.I’ve done it a few times, one of them was an Ace. But nothing compares to sticking a green from afar.I’ve dunked a bunker shot, holes a 40 foot putt, and I punch out from the trees regularly... with a lot of success most of the time.Par 5 in 2? Yeah that’s cool.Right now I’d pick any of the above. GolfSpy BOS and GolfSpy_SHARK 2 Quote Link to comment

While I have done all the selections I chose other just because you see this on the TV it just looks so cool and have not done it. TR1PTIK
Shockingly, I can actually say I've done all of these at one time or another and (with some luck) will probably do it all again. So I chose "other". I'd just like to hit the shot I intended to the first time all the time lol! If I were to pick one of the options above, it'd probably be punching one through a tunnel of trees. It's full of risk, and is the most exhilarating to pull off IMO. Shankster
As soon as I can... I’m going to try a Lee Trevino “hold shot” with the 2 iron. GolfSpy MPR
I choose to reach a par 5 in 2, for two reasons. One, I'm a short hitter, so I'd be pretty stoked. But here's the real reason: it means that I hit two good shots in a row. All the other options are just one shot. zrumble
Last fall I hit the flagstick with a drive on a 286 yard par 4 as people were marking their score behind it. Usually don’t hit it quite that far, gave them a shock and a bunch of high fives all around, made the 5 footer for eagle. But nothing feels as good as that long lag putt you hit pure and watch it die into the center of the cup. Erik-M
I have been playing golf now for a long time and I would love to make a hole in 1. I've had so many that spin back and hit the lip. Or disappear and you get excited to find its sitting directly behind the flag. Or the ones with the pitch mark right in line but looks like the ball horse shoed around the flag. Is that too much to ask lol. I mean Kirke's already done it. Lol GolfSpy MPR 1 Quote Link to comment
juspoole
For me it was an easy decision of par 4 in 1. This basically guarantees a birdie. Same with par 5 in 2, but that's something that isn't near as difficult to accomplish in my opinion. Tpoole22
I've only been golfing for a couple of years, but I've been lucky enough to do all of these except dunk and bunker or chip shot. Driving a par 4 is a pretty good feeling, but since my chipping is probably the most inconsistent part of my game I think that would be way cooler. STUDque 1 Quote Link to comment
sirchunksalot
I went with par 5 in 2. I think as @GolfSpy MPR said, that would mean two consecutive good shots. There's a par 5 at one of the local courses that plays 395 from the whites, and I've never hit it. Between the skinny, sloping fairway and the narrow green, it's just tough for me. I've actually hit a green on a par 4, another short hole at the same course. I've had the distance plenty of times, but not the accuracy. When I did hit it I just sat in the cart stunned for a moment. GolfSpy BOS, GolfSpy MPR and GolfSpy_SHARK 3 Quote Link to comment
Advstj
Done all them but the best is dunking a shot. You can play it off as if you meant to do it, all while knowing that if you didn’t you were looking at that 40 foot par saving putt. silver & black
Reach a par 5 in two. 15 years ago I could do it occasionally, but those days are gone...lol. That leaves driving a par 4 out these days too. Although, I still seem to manage that a couple time a season. I doubt that will happen this season, though. Mr. 82
I was thinking of this poll in relation to what I would like to accomplish all the time. And if I can reach par 5s in two every time, I could in theory, reduce the par on the golf course to 68. I mean, that's the most meaningful accomplishment honestly - to be able to be Cameron Champ for a day. GolfSpy BOS
Sticking it inside your buddy on a par 3 when he's already in tight. It’s more fun on a par 5 when you both reach the green in two. My opponent dropped his to 4 feet. I put mine in the cup! The only thing that sucked was that we didn’t see either of them since we were hitting uphill and the flag was past a bunker lol from our line blocking the view of that part of the green.
