I have played so many and they all have strengths and weaknesses. I keep going back to my Taylor Made 18* UDi 2 iron with a Kuro Kage 95hy shaft (pulled from a Wilson Utility). I can hit my DI quite a bit farther than any corresponding club in my bag because I love hitting irons and I have a ton of confidence in DI's. ... I have played Srixon U45, Wilson FG Tour, Exotics CBX Ironwood, Exotics CB Pro Tungsten, Cobra Utility, GAPR Mid and my UDi. I am probably going to pick up the new Exotics Ti Utlity 17* and bend it to 18* because ... well ... I just can't seem to help myself. https://www.touredge.com/exs-220-ti-utility Do you play them from the fairway as well? I only hit mine off the tee's so I am also thinking about maybe shifting over to a 5 wood to play off the tee's and fairways. It's tough though right now since nothing is open to try anything. Thanks for the input, my course tends to have pretty soft fairways, it's an old course that doesn't drain very well. I checked out the link too for the tour edge, they look pretty sweet! To be honest, they never popped up on my radar. I'll have to look into them Quote Driver: Epic Flash Sub Zero Hzdrs Smoke x flex 70g 3 Wood: 917 w/ Diamana Whiteboard stiff 5 Wood : Epic Flash 18* Hzdrs Smoke stiff 4 Hybrid: Apex w/Kuro Kage stiff Irons: 5-7 Apex forged 19 w/ Modus 120 X 9-A Apex Pro 19 w/ Modus 120 X Wedges: MD5 52&56 Jaws Dynamic Gold wedge flex Putter: Scotty Cameron Del Mar 34" Link to comment
