I won and was hooked.That was 48 years ago. I finished third in my flight, choking on the last day, which I started tied for first! My Dad was a HS golf coach, and he didn’t take me on a full-size course until I could play Pat’s Par Three course well, and hit the ball far enough. Pat’s is now Miles of Golf! I guess I started around 8 or 9, so I’ve been swinging a club for 40+ years... Due to conflicts throughout the world from 2003 to 2009 I played very intermittently. Since the summer of 2009 I’ve played pretty consistently at least once a week. I did take a fall off a mountain in 2016 that took me out for about 120 days.
