2020 Limited Run BB8W vs 2019 QB8 Limited Run Soft Carbon

Hey everyone! I currently game the BB8W and I have an opportunity to trade up to the QB8 limited run soft carbon. I was curious if anyone has had a try at this putter? I love the looks of the QB8 but just not sure of the feel. I like my BB8W but it has a tendency to feel like it pops off the face with its super fly milling. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I love my Queen B.  I have the limited run with the copper insert from 2 years ago.  Also have the Studio Stock 28 Slotback.  I would give it a go.  It will hold its value.

I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. I played a Queen B8 last summer and currently use a BB8W. Both are great putters.

Thanks for the replies! Another competitor came into the mix too the 2020 BB8.1 tiki limited run. I think what I’m truly looking for is a soft feel something similar to the FIT face on the studio stock ss28. I feel that the ball pops off the face a lot with my current bb8w.

I’m using 3 brands so far Kirkland chromesoft x and prov1. Debating which would be the best bang for my buck as well give me the green side stopping power I desire. What do you suggest?

My suggestion would be to try as many as you can I don’t mean to sound snarky, feel is just so subjective.

Each urethane ball has its own feel. The best suggestions amongst the forum would be to start around the green with feel & spin, I would try as many different balls as possible. Refer to the MGS ball test from last year and you may save yourself from buying another putter.

Which one do you prefer the feel of between your QB6 copper insert and the SS28?
