cnosil
I've been hitting balls in my backyard during COVID. What is the best way to wash 20-30 balls at home?Wet towel would be what I would use. Tom the Golf Nut
I put a little dish liquid in a bucket of water, dump all the balls in and agitate the bucket. Then pull one out at a time and use a small scrub brush. Then toss the ball into another bucket of clean water. Once done I dump the clean water out and let them air dry. Titleist87
Most courses I play have a bucket of water nearby to soak a towel. Or I use the bathroom sink or drinking fountain. Keep a wet towel with you to clean your clubs and take it onto the green so you can mark and clean your ball. I never use a course provided ball washer. No need to as my ball is clean before I get to the next tee. PhilC
Carry a wet towel hanging off pull cart so usually when needed. Also in league play it's been very wet so it's been clean in place so more often than not! On dry days probably on green or only at tee box. RobotDoctor
I like my balls clean. I feel better about myself when my balls are clean. I clean them after I mark the ball on the green. I use my golf towel to do so. On the next tee the ball is checked to make sure its clean. Can't putt well with mud/dirt is on your balls. A clean ball is a happy ball. Kor.A.Door
I don’t really clean my golf ball much at all. If I see dirt on it I will clean it on a towel, but I don’t specifically have a routine to wash it. BIG STU
I usually wet a towel how ever I can and it hangs off the bag. Here in the summer when it is humid it may be required a couple of times to re wet. I always carry a clean towel to dry my hands etc because I sweat like a hog. No fancy towels for me either I use what ever I pick up at Goodwill etc. Down here with all the motels the thrifts end up with bundles of motel towels. One can buy like 20 towels in a bundle for $5. I used to use a wet a towel but here in the desert in the summer, a wet towel is dry in 2 holes. I started using a bottle brush to clean club grooves, so I just squeeze a little of the soapy water on the ball and use a dry towel. Of course, if I don't have the brush and towel with me, a little spit and my shirt/shorts works just fine. I hadn't thought about the thrift stores for towels; we don't have a nice supply like you do, but I'll do some checking for shop towels. I have a bad habit of using a club wiping towel until it is really nasty or my buddy Bear says "That's disgusting" I have had some so nasty they will stand up by themselves. Now my face and arm drying towel I change out after every round in the summer because frankly I sweat a lot and they stink tony@CIC and Kenny B 2 Quote Driver ---- Callaway Big Bertha Alpha Speeder 565 R flex- 5W TM V-Steel Fubuki 60r--- 7W TM V-Steel UST Pro Force Gold 65R----- 9 W TM V Steel TM MAS stiff---- Irons 2015 TM TP CB Steel Fiber 95 R--- GW Callaway Mack Daddy 2 52* shaft unknown junk pile refugee.
