Since I'm not expecting ball washers to come back soon, I think I'll just fill a solo cup with an inch or two of water, to plop the ball in as needed. Since we're riding single in carts for now, there are four cup holders free...

No ball washers on the course here.  I'm more of an every hole guy, but I recently picked up the GrooveIt Brush for my clubs.  It squirts water on the club and then brushes them clean.  Huge unexpecte

I have one of those little neoprene pouches with terry cloth inside.  I wet the terry cloth before my round, and it stays wet for the entire round.  I usually only clean my balls (golf) when I see dir

When I can touch it during play, it gets cleaned and dried.. Same goes for the club before hitting... It is amazing the amount of people I play with that won't clean their ball or club before swinging away. It makes a big difference..

Usually have to clean it about every 2 holes.  No ball washers at my course now so carry a wet towel to do the cleaning.

Do ball washers on the course still exist?! I haven’t bothered to pay attention since I was a kid!

Wet towel, after I’m on the green, then again before I tee off on the next hole.

The hardest part about washing my balls is balancing on top of the ball washer.

Kidding aside, I have a few of the neoprene ball washer pockets. I clean the ball once it gets dirty.  Usually on the green. Mornings require more cleaning than afternoon rounds due to morning dew and damp soil. Once it gets scuffed it goes in the practice bucket.

I've been hitting balls in my backyard during COVID. What is the best way to wash 20-30 balls at home?

Wet towel would be what I would use.

I put a little dish liquid in a bucket of water, dump all the balls in and agitate the bucket. Then pull one out at a time and use a small scrub brush. Then toss the ball into another bucket of clean water. Once done I dump the clean water out and let them air dry.

Most courses I play have a bucket of water nearby to soak a towel. Or I use the bathroom sink or drinking fountain. Keep a wet towel with you to clean your clubs and take it onto the green so you can mark and clean your ball. I never use a course provided ball washer. No need to as my ball is clean before I get to the next tee.

Carry a wet towel hanging off pull cart so usually when needed.  Also in league play it's been very wet so it's been clean in place so more often than not!  On dry days probably on green or only at tee box.

I like my balls clean.  I feel better about myself when my balls are clean.  I clean them after I mark the ball on the green.  I use my golf towel to do so.  On the next tee the ball is checked to make sure its clean.  Can't putt well with mud/dirt is on your balls.  A clean ball is a happy ball.  😉

I have a towel that I wipe my balls on, nice plush pile that takes away the dirt and dries them off nicely. Can always tell how clean they are by how smooth the balls feel afterwards.  Always good to prepare for that next swing because you never know how good it's going to be!  Keep a separate (older) water bottle on my push cart to wet my balls down when extra effort is needed for that clean look.

Verified Hack, 28 handicap (down 2 in 2020) 🙂  Golfing for exercise and peace of mind.

I also carry a wet towel and wash my ball on every green before I putt with it.  Don’t want that little grass stain to cause a lip out.

Pre pandemic it was exactly three full cranks or 5 strokes only. Now I carry a Green Go pocket ball washer. Wet the inside and stuff it in your back pocket.

I don’t really clean my golf ball much at all. If I see dirt on it I will clean it on a towel, but I don’t specifically have a routine to wash it.
