I didn't see that in the instructions. A couple of thoughts - reach out to PRGR another would be to just log the current info and use a conversion app.

Or you could ask Siri.

I'll do the dynamic warm-up before the round, too. SuperSpeed initially recommended it, but I saw on their Instagram page a few months back they had the end of it and went from just 10 swings with the heavy stick to this.20190228_100537.thumb.jpg.b3b5618df6fec714a8420b315095938c.jpg

I like this - I’m going to give it a try tomorrow afternoon - I’ve honestly thought seriously about dynamic warm up and 1st round of a protocol pre round - that seems to be when I’m fastest.

The issue of course is stowing 3 sticks for an entire round

That's part of the reason I'll just do the dynamic warm-up for the protocols with just the heavy stick swings. I only carry 13 clubs and have the extra slot for the speed stick. I could just put the other two in the trunk, but I hate leaving any clubs in that kind of heat.

How many of y'all actually do the Dynamic Warm-up? Honestly, I get very lazy about the warm-up and skip out on it often. Does it help?

Secondly, when do y'all do the trainings? Mornings, as recommended by the program or later in the day?

Yeah I’ve been able to make small gains in strength, but it’s like I used to tell my students, “It’s impossible to add to your house if you’re taking away building materials.”

When I was powerlifting, I was eating 3,500 calories a day only weighing in the 160s.

So I think I can put the fat loss on standby (at least not so aggressive) so I can have the energy needed for this training.

Great quote, I'm going to have to use that haha. What's funny is just as I said that today's workout went better. I am going to throw the random question out there of has anyone from the old group found a way to handle the physical fatigue? More to that point does anyone do cardio exercising in their daily life which makes the swings easier?

I’ve done the warm-up every time so far. From a kinesiology standpoint, it is very important. You’ll never see a professional sprinter or basketball player start a game without warming up first. Specific to swinging a golf club as fast as humanly possible, I saw a video where former Professional Long Driver Joe Miller was saying he doesn’t hit his top speed until at least an hour into his workouts (to the best of my memory). So the body does need time to loosen up and swing freely.

I’ve had to do my trainings around lunch time so far.

I'm generally guilty of not doing much of a warm up prior to playing/practicing, so I'm being very intentional about making sure I do the dynamic warmup as best I can.

I am not a morning person and am usually at work by around 7, so I've been doing the protocol after I get home from work and chill for about a half hour.

I definitely do a warm up and for me it definitely helps. I can see a jump in swing speed when my body has been stretched and warmed up.

I would prefer to do mine in the late afternoon. In the mornings my body feels stiff, by the afternoon or evening I feel awake and warmed up.

During this first week, the first two of my regiments were a little later in the day and I felt great. The last one I did on Friday was earlier in the morning and I felt stiff even after warming up, and the numbers weren't as fast as the other two days,

I would never do a workout without the dynamic warm up - that’s a great way to get injured. I don’t play without stretching either - if I have to choose between stretching and hitting balls, I’ll stretch.

I think each person needs to find his or her training sweet spot - they recommend morning because more people are faster in the morning. But more isn’t all. I’d recommend you try different times and see when is best for you and then stick to that schedule.

I posted this 4 weeks ago in reply to the email / invite I received from MGS .

Reposting this with minor changes as it is now 10 weeks since then 🙂

Hi I purchased mine 10 weeks ago and I am now into  my second level of training.

The first time I swung it I registered a 105 mph – that was an evening after a few rounds of beers and I told myself I could swing it a bit higher without alcohol in my system.

True enough in the morning when I officially started my training I recorded a 110mph which I used as my baseline for comparing gains to be achieved. In the course of this training I recorded 120mph, 121mph, 122mph and a high of 123mph. These readings were first achieved on my third /fourth week. All these are saved and validated in my Instagram account.

In short these sticks really work but like in any undertakings you have to follow the instructions and guidelines and train religiously to achieve success.

Remember though, to avoid dissatisfaction, your swing speed gains in your training, unless you are a tour pro, might not exactly transfer to your driver. The simple explanation to this, is physics and aerodynamics – the head of the driver. However in irons it will be evident.

One thing for sure you will definitely increase your swing speed.

By the way, I’m 54 with a 7.9 handicap

during the 1st level of training I followed all dynamic warm up religiously which is actually good to loosen up and also to prevent any injuries.

nowadays, I still do some dynamic warm -ups but  not all of them.  But I always ensure I do stretching exercises before I train.

I think it goes to what a lot of guys are saying. The warmup is definitely needed as a prep to get the most out of what you are doing. I think it comes down to what you personally need to warmup on your own body. I personally have a tight lower back and shoulders so spend more time warming that up.

I have done the warm-up for all sessions for far, and I wouldn't skip it. Just this first week alone I am seeing benefits.

95 driver speed to start the week, and I ended up after Friday's session at 110!
