That was my fear...
We are moving soon to a townhouse with no grass but a pretty large garage. Will probably pick up a strip of turf to put under the club but will stand on the concrete.

I just go to a big open field in our neighborhood. Don’t have to worry about ruining my nice lawn.

Here is my Level 1 - Week 6 summary video.

I'm beyond excited to continue this journey.  Seeing the hard work validated on GC Quad was very satisfying and has me desiring to keep pushing the envelop of what this body can do!

I really want to see 180mph ball speed.  To do that I'm going to have to find the middle of the club face, stop sliding, and square it all up at impact.

That is my goal for next time I get to hit on the launch monitor after Level 2.  What are your goals?

@MaxEntropy thanks for sharing this with everyone. Just responded to the email which was very helpful. The videos especially gave us some troubleshooting ideas right away. Blake has done an awesome job here and wanted to circle back on that discussion on the speed of the backswing. Feel free to post a video Blake if you’d like but in short Blake was one of those that a faster backswing would really help. Remember it’s not for everyone as it can mess with timing but in this case we highly recommended to give it a go.
Here is a video explaining it further. For those already seeing good gains with the protocols no need to add this but it could be helpful for some.

Thanks for posting that, it was really interesting.  I've already completed my swings today, but will experiment with this a bit next week.

Last winter I was swinging on concrete in my garage - at times I felt like I was unintentionally holding back a little - partly because of what @ChasingScratch mentioned about banging up the sticks and partly because the ceiling is just low enough that I am aware of it when swinging.  I think if you get a good sized mat you'll be fine.  Not sure why I didn't think of it for myself, I did nick the floor a couple of time (luckily I swing pretty slow, so no actual damage 😉 ).  Too cold here in the winter to swing out doors late November until late March/early April.

Alright fellow spies!  Here it is!  My Level 1 Post-test video on GC Quad with stickers on the club face (ultimate accuracy).  The video starts with an overview of thoughts, then we get into the good (bombs), then the bad (push fades off the planet).  My fitter shares his thoughts as well.  I hope you enjoy!

I took the afternoon off and played with @MattF. Although I had a couple high flares off the planet (I love the phrase, @ChasingScratch, totally appropriate). As usual, the flares happened in exactly the wrong circumstances when there is nothing but trouble right. I started hitting some decent drives later in the round. The hole below was probably the best combination of shots I put together. It's been a while since I covered 513 with two shots, especially since they were exactly where I was aiming. I also birdied two holes today. I can't remember the last time I had more than one in a round.

Here are my top 10 swings from the GC Quad session.  By good, I mean the ones that didn't have 3,500+ rpm of backspin and weren't push-faded 50yds right of target.
I'll be finishing up my Level 1 Week 6 video and making a shortened video of the GC Quad session soon.  I've got to get some range time in to hit the middle of the face more often, otherwise all the speed is pointless.

I had a very long day today. Got up at 6, drove 3 hours to southern Ohio to watch my oldest daughter compete at a fancy horse show, which meant I stood around in the sun for 4.5 hours. Then I drove home. I really had little motivation to do the protocol, but needed to do it to stay on schedule. I made every effort to have a much faster backswing, as @SuperSpeed Golf recommended. Numbers were basically the same right-handed and set some PB's left-handed. Timing was off on the step-change, but I'll figure that out. Given how tired I am, I consider it a success to reach "normal" speeds. I'll get another video on Monday and try to put side-by-side to see how much faster the backswing is.

By the way, after the round yesterday, my Arccos smart distance is up another 7 yards for a 20 yard total improvement. I'll take it.

Any more thoughts on PRGR setup from the group? I feel faster. Some of these swings just make an absurd whoosh, and I’ve seen 119mph with my driver once after the protocol. Typically though it always hovers at 110-111, and it’s making me curious if I’m not getting the proper aspect angle with the PRGR. Thoughts?

I’ve experimented all over the place honestly. Raised off the ground, at ball position facing me (never get it to read that way), but the one that seems to be the best now is angled 45* towards my front door a little behind where ball position would be.

So think of where you would tee up a ball with driver, then put it about 6” back of there and angled towards the front door about 45*

It’s either that or regular down the line position but I have to make a cut swing path.

Here is something interesting: if you go to SuperSpeed’s Instagram page, one of their most recent posts is of John Rahm swinging the sticks. Here is how he has the PRGR set up:

IMG_6860.PNG.9e56126f2e9fff6d29364bb34d6da966.PNG

It looks like it’s pointed down at almost 90*. I’m starting level 2 today, so I’m going to play around with that.

So after a week of moving and getting settled in our new place - not to mention excessive temps/humidity, I'm back at it. This mornings session was a bit on the weak side - especially with the dominant hand. Not sure if it's the change-up of doing it early morning vs. previous afternoon sessions. Just for giggles I'm going to redo the protocol 2 this afternoon and see if there's a speed difference.

I was quite a bit "fresher" today than I was Saturday. Focussing on fast backswing worked well! All 3 of the first set of swings with the green stick were above 120, which is a first for me. Even though it's cooler today, it was still hot and I started losing speed.  Then I realized my rain gloves were nearly soaked with sweat, so I ran and grabbed a normal glove from my basement for the final 5 driver swings: 117, 111, 116, 115, and 111. I've hit 115 before, but but don't thinks I've ever had more than 1 swing above 111 or 112. I took a video of the first swings and will try to do a side-by-side with a swing from last week to see how much faster the backswing is. I'll post it tomorrow.

I was able to jump outside between calls and #CCC4 business today to get a training session in after not doing any for probably 3 weeks.  This is the start of my "week 14" so the last week of the second protocol.  I think I may just have broken through the first plateau!
I felt like I was swinging fast and was really going after it on my final swings with the green stick.  I recorded swings of 128, 127, 129, and with just one more than the protocol required... 130!
I've never been faster than 126 in the prior 13 weeks (really the past year+) so this was very exciting for me.  I've been wanting to break that 130 barrier since basically the first week of training last spring.  I also set a new PB on the blue stick at 122.
I hope this trend continues, but for anyone struggling through the first plateau, keep going!

I was at the same speed and the point! Through the second protocol I’m around 136-138 with the green stick. The biggest change I’m seeing the the difference from the blue to the green speed in negligible. On the course I’m not swinging all that harder, but my effortless 3/4 speed is now at 105 range and I can hit a baby fade/ straight a lot easier. I’m no Langer fighting the big right miss cause I feel less effort in the swing

Just finished week 1 (3 days) and was absolutely shocked at the results. Thought I would share.

A little background. I have been playing for 3 years and am a 16 handicap. I am 26 years old and in fairly good shape. I get regular lessons and have always struggled with driver swing speed. I recently got a fitting and my driver swing speed's average was 91.8. Granted, it was a fitting so I was exhausted, but after seeing the trackman report, my coach suggested I get these and try out the program. Below are my results..

Day 1

- Driver Max (5 swings after warming up) - 98 MPH

- Driver Average - 95.4 MPH

Day 3 - After Super Speed Routine

- Driver Max - 109 (+11 MPH)

- Driver Average - 104.8 (+9.4 MPH)

I have hit on trackman a ton and have NEVER seen my swing speed get above 103. Seeing it at 109 after 3 workouts was unbelievable. Really looking forward to getting to the range!

Reminder to myself: DON"T do 2 sets of protocols in one day - my back will thank me!

Here is a side-by-side of a swing from last week (left) and last night (right). Backswing is quite a bit faster. @SuperSpeed Golf - is that fast enough or should I try to go even faster?

Based on the image @ChasingScratch posted from Rahm's post, I tried to tilt the radar a little bit last night. The results were much more consistent with a lot fewer "false ball speeds". Give it a shot if you are seeing strange things.
