Hi all! We wanted to thank everyone for the huge response the previous forum thread has received since 2018. We will be on this new one to answer questions and assist however we can. We look forward to the next round of testers and also seeing everyone else who is training on their own.

Once again thanks to both MGS and Superspeed golf. Very excited to get into this... With that here is a bit of a start off for everyone.

As we all know we are in a bit of a changing world and especially here in Halifax Nova Scotia where I'm from (at the moment) courses are closed and we don't see any progress for opening for at least another month. This is definitely going to be a roadblock in seeing where things are headed and just that unknown. Thankfully this project we don't have to have a course! I have a decent sized yard and plenty of time so it will give me a good opportunity dive deep into the program. 

I've been looking for a new big stick and as a reward for myself once this is all finished and I have successfully completed the program and seen some gains I will go for a full proper driver fit. 

I am really hoping to see some more ease in speed. I like my swing and where it has gone, but I struggle off the tee and loose a lot of distance when trying to overpower my swing to get more out of it. So with Superspeed I'm hoping to get some good gains on swing speed and ball speed, which will hopefully translate to a better off the tee game. 

As with previous reviews I'll do as much as I can to post on YouTube for videos that pp are asking to see as well as instagram where you follow along @apolloshowl.

I will admit this is also all relatively new as I didn't really follow the last review and know mainly the basics about the product. So I'm sure there will be a lot of lightbulb moments throughout.

Another small thing I'm looking forward to with this is helping my flexibility as that is not something I'm really well known for. 

We have a awesome group here and I'm know we all would encourage everyone to ask as many questions as possible as well as for what you want to see. It helps us a lot and I look forward to the journey to more speed!

Very grateful to My Golf Spy and to Super Speed golf for this fantastic opportunity. As you can see above I am in the slow swing group and my obvious goal is to gain swing speed.  It is important to me that I also maintain what I have been working on in my lessons over the winter as I am feeling more confident in my current swing and the potential ability to hit more fairways and greens. I live in a place that we only see grass for 6 months of the year then its snow.. so the one challenge for me will be winter sessions but I set up a small area in my garage that I have been hitting wedges into a net to keep practicing so that hurdle should be jumped over.  Once again I am stoked for this chance to get better and offer my thoughts on this system. I have started reviewing the past testing thread and also watching some videos on the system to prepare myself for what is coming. If anyone has anything they want to know during the testing that might not be covered please call me out on it and I will try and address it.  Once again thank you to MGS and to Super Speed.

Some initial thoughts and goals:

I'm 52 years old, in decent shape, but could stand to lose about 10-15 lbs. I typically go the the gym a couple times a week and do some weights and cardio, at least until the lockdown. I used to be a long-ball player, but over the last 5 years, or so, some back issues and age have resulted in a steady decline in distance. If you believe the charts that are all over the internet, my distance is still above average for my age and handicap, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want some of the lost distance back - there are a few holes that used to be a wedge into the green that are now an 8. I am under no delusion that I will get it all back, but I am very much looking forward to testing this protocol and seeing what it can do to help me out.

The fact that we don't need a range or golf course to be open to work on the program is a plus -  no matter what direction things go in our somewhat uncertain future, we should still be able to do the work that is being asked of us.

2020 Forum Member Review - SuperSpeed Training System

Follow along as our nine (9) dedicated testers embark on the journey to gain more speed. I have always said the only purpose my left arm serves is to keep my body balanced, because it's otherwise almost worthless, so I am actually looking forward to seeing just how awkward my left-handed swing is. I'm good with sharing that with the world.

First couple sessions it will feel super awkward. After a while, you will surprise yourself. My left handed swing sped up quite a bit and at times actually feels more natural than my normal swing. Sounds weird, but let me know if you experience if after a few weeks.

Hey everyone I am very excited to get started and wanted to thank MGS and SuperSpeed for this testing to happen!

 

Over the last year I have been really focusing on improving my game and while I always thought my driving was decent, getting fit for one last year was game changing. Now it is time to see what some swing training can do and take it to the next level. I hope to gain both physical improvements but also some mental improvements that allow more confidence off the tee, allowing increased swing speed to equal more balance and repeatability. 

 

Here in NY it's been a roller coaster with closures, multiple re-openings and now back to open with walking only, it has allowed me to gain strength and challenge myself to stay focused. 

 

I can't wait to put SuperSpeed to the test and see those increases throughout my golf game!

Hey everyone!

I'm feeling very blessed to be doing another review for MGS.

I'f you've read any of my previous reviews (click links for Srixon Z-Star and XV; Cleveland Frontline Elevado), you'll know a little about my gear setup (see signature) and that I love to rip long bombs!

My regular playing partners already tell me I hit it too far (I tell them to move up a tee box), so I'm sure they'll flip a lid when they hear I'm using the SuperSpeed training program.  

I currently enjoy weight lifting and did a little power lifting in my late 20's and early 30's but have since dialed that back.  I maintain a regular weight-lifting routine and do daily rowing on my rower.

I'm looking forward to seeing the pre/post protocol results.  I really enjoy data analysis (again, see my other reviews) and am interested to see if this program actually works!
