(5) Testers Wanted: Bag Boy Chiller Cart Bag

Nearly two of every three courses in the United States are currently open for business. Yes, open is a relative term, but as more golfers start to peg it up outside, there’s always the question of “Should I get a new _____________.”

If your answer is “Cart Bag” it might be worth waiting until we release Buyer’s Guide that will give you the complete run-down on all of the latest models.

That said, the Bag Boy Chiller Cart bag provides golfers a solution to a relatively common problem – How to keep beverages cold without asking for a bag of ice every time the beverage cart rolls around.

Do you remember the excitement when Tommy Callahan first discovered the mini-fridge in his new office? If not, no big deal, but you really should carve out some time to watch Tommy Boy. If you do, that’s the type of enthusiasm Bag Boy is hoping to inspire with its Chiller Cart bag.

I would love to test.  I am not very happy with my current bag (Callaway Org 14).

1. Located outside Nashville, TN

2. Current bag is a Callaway Org 14

3. The things I look for most in a cart bag are, 14 way full length dividers, a stable base that is somewhat resistant to tipping(my current largest complaint about the Org 14), storage (not only in volume, but how smartly is it laid out? I like to keep things organized), a base and strap system that will not slide around on a cart, my other biggest complaint about the Org 14 is that there is a little too much wiggle room in the cart strap slots which results in me having to tighten the strap to a point that it compresses the putter well which makes it hard to get my putter out sometimes.

3. I look for a bag that will work with my Clicgear Model 8.  A bag that has plenty of storage.  Now knowing that there is a bag with a built in cooled that is a must for me moving forward since I play better with a few beers in me.

Current bag: Titleist 5 way hybrid stand bag, carry bag that I also use the push cart for it.

Things I look for the most: Since that bag would also be on a push cart, weight is the most important factor, previous cart bags have been to heavy and hard to have on a push cart.

Keeping my adult beverages nice and cold the whole 18 holes is a must too.

I like 14 way dividers as well as lots of pockets, especially smaller, easier to access pockets that are on the front side of the bag.  The side pockets are very hard to access with another cart bag on a cart.

bags- ping and cobra both top bags on your lists

with the ping cart bag I wanted 14 dividers big pockets to fit a bunch of crap I’m never going to use. Little cooler for some drinks. And just a week made bag. I don’t need zippers breaking and the bag ripping 

with the cobra stand bag. The straps have to be comfortable. Also I don’t need the clubs getting all jammed up. Decent amount of pockets but trying to stay light as possible. Also the stand part had to be well made my old junk callaway bag wasn’t the greatest

Testing a bag back in 2016 is how I cut my teeth on the MGS forum. It was my first testing opportunity and really helped me learn about what MGS expects from a tester. 

I used it to become more a part of of the community and then it eventually led to other testing opportunities.

I look for plenty of room, storage space, easy access to pockets, not too heavy, and works on a cart and will still fit my clicgear.  14-15 way divider.   I need space for drinks and snacks, with easy access to the valuable pocket.  I would also like it to be water resistant if not waterproof.  Valuable pocket should be waterproof.

3. Easy access to range finder, tees, ball markers, CBD, and all the whatnots I have to have during a round. Cooler for water is nice but not mandatory as I carry insulated jugs. full length club sleeves. Storage for rain gear and hats, bug spray ect.
