Walking or Riding after social distancing is over

Will you continue to walk the course once the social distancing is finally over or would you return back to the riding the cart

I think I will continue to walk more. Been walking most weeks and it's good for fitness.

I was never much for walking but about a month ago I found a used Bag Boy push cart and started walking at my local course. I have found it to be much more enjoyable and relaxing. It hasn’t helped my game much yet but the weather is so good right now I don’t really mind.

Will continue to walk just about every round at my club. Not sure if we will have a caddy program this year or not but will carry if we don’t.

100% I will keep walking, unless outing/scramble. Need to drop lbs anyways and the pace is better.

I've always preferred walking anyway. My 12 year old is starting to play, he asked"When are we going to ride in a cart?". I said"When you pay for it."

Will continue to walk... most of the courses in my area instituted "one golfer per cart" and don't have enough carts to go around.

... I walked before so I will walk after. I have a Zip Navigator remote controlled cart so it is easy to keep my posture. I love walking the course and not carrying or pushing makes it fun and I get in some exercise.

I started walking only for the extra exercise of it last year and enjoyed it. Was planning on walking only regardless of the apocalypse

In all fairness, I was a walker with push cart before and I will continue to do so unless my daughter decides to go along. It has been interesting to see so many other golfers walking and a significant decrease in cart use during all of this.

I have really enjoyed walking. This whole thing has given me a good excuse to use my push cart more. I feel like I stay looser when I walk instead of taking a cart.

I live in Arizona so we walk in the winter and ride in the summer and this is still our plan going forward. While I guess you could walk when it's 115, it might just take some of the fun out of play. Just saying.

Until I get my knee working well (replacement that hasn’t worked out great) I will walk 9 and ride 18. Playing pard has wonky ankles as well but he’s enjoyed walking 9.

I’ll probably do a little of both. I prefer to walk but when the course is busy it’s not as relaxing when you have carts buzzing everywhere and on you like rush hour traffic. I wish courses would block off times for walking only.

I'll continue to walk but then again, I was walking before COVID.  Carts are fine but I enjoy walking.  I like the exercise and I feel that golf is a game that is meant to be played while walking.

Golf re-opened last week and after ~40 days of a pretty sedentary lifestyle we walked 18 and my legs are toast, LOL! The course I played is relatively flat, and not much elevation across the whole track but man, a few walks around the neighborhood a week just didn't compare the the weekly 9-hole round I guess. Didn't help that I was spraying driver either, I guess my post-quarantine miss with driver is to the right now.

I replied "NO" on the poll, but it really just depends on courses and playing partners. I've encountered several courses that charge the same for walking as they do riding, and if I'm going to pay the same amount, I'm going to use the cart so at least I get more for my $. It also depends on my playing partners (if any). By myself, I'm more likely to walk, but the guys I play with currently don't like to walk so we always use carts.

Walking for sure, I am very happy with being "forced" to take extra steps on the course.

I would like to walk as much as possible. I've been taking long walks after work to make sure I'm moving, and that has helped me enjoy the walk while playing golf even more.

Walk first, ride in cart second for outings, or when playing on those "green to next tee is a half-mile" courses.    Have to keep up with pace of play.  

Wears out the plastic spikes, too.

I will walk First when possible, even if partners are in Carts, I notice I have had a better rhythm on my game while walking, am able to keep up the pace of play, am already at my ball ready to hit not waiting on cart to get around.

I’ve been reminded that I prefer to walk but that can be dangerous in Florida during the summer months. So I will probably shift back to riding until October

Same here I'll walk some and ride others some courses here have too much elevation changes to be feasible when walking. Also depends on who I'm golfing with if I go solo I'm gonna walk.

My left foot and leg, along with both replaced knees, pretty much keeps me riding these days.  Walking is just too taxing on me, anymore.

I already walk during league night most of the time and I've vowed to walk more on full rounds, but if there is no discount for waking, I'll ride sometimes.
