MAVRIK Irons - first course usage tomorrow

I went through a fitting with a highly recommended fitter back in February. We settled on the Callaway MAVRIK irons (6-GW). I had been playing the Callaway XR2 Pro for the past 5 years. The big difference between the clubs in the fitting experience was in the decrease in shot dispersion with the MAVRIKs. Maybe a little more distance.

Since I live in Cleveland, between the weather and COVID-19 regulations in place, tomorrow is the first time that I am going to use them on a course. I have a hitting net in my garage where I have practiced with them since I received. That only tells you so much. Especially since I don't have a tracking monitor.

I am anxious to see how they (or I) perform over the course of the season. My goal is to hit more greens with approach shots. I feel like that is biggest area holding me at a 15 handicap.

I'll provide updates during the season.

Just curious which fitter did you go through in Cleveland? Both my wife and I went to Trent at Windmill in Macedonia and had a great experience.

FYI there are a bunch of guys here from the Cleveland area.
