WITB for 2020

No real brand loyalties here, other than my last irons were MP-H4's and going in to the iron fitting I'm sure I was leaning towards the 919s.  It came down to them and Apex Pro's, so I went 919 Forged and have about 10 rounds on them now.

Other than that, the only enduring theme in my bag is a stomach-churning aversion to anything TaylorMade.  (Sorry, I'm sure I just ticked somebody off.) 

Woods are maybe getting a litte long in the tooth but I plan to get one more season out of them, and I'm not too concerned, I'm still happy with how they perform.

Heck of a setup. Funny I have 0 brand loyalties either but I was fitted for taylormade irons last year. Never! A taylormade guy didn’t like any of there products.....but now I have those and a bag.....I’m going in the wrong direction

Their irons I don't mind, thought the P790s were good sticks when I tried them.  But their woods...I hate the feel and sound of their drivers.  They also seem to me to be the "squirreliest" OEM in terms of advertising half-truths.  But maybe I won't open that can of worms here...

Love it...”go to” club. Less offset than the average hybrid means it’s not a hook machine, but the face is plenty hot.
At one time I might have regarded TE as a “lesser” brand, but certainly not anymore.

I've been playing the JPX-EZ irons for the last few years and love love love the look of the 919s. I went in for my fitting and went the opposite way as you, ended up getting the Apex Pros. Can still hardly believe it.

A little bit of both. I loved the feel of both, but seemed to be finding the center of the face better with the Apex’s. But even on shots with solid contact I was just getting better numbers with them also

Very nice set of clubs. Love that putter and the irons.

Out: Epic driver, XR16 3 wood, CBX 119 hybrid, Scotty putter

In:  Honma TR20 460 driver, TE CBX 119 3 wood, Titleist TS3 hybrids, EVNROLL ER2B putter

Likely to be a wedge change coming soon too...
