Kanoito
We moved to our new place about a year ago and we still have some boxes left unopened. I was looking for gloves to play my first round of the season and found a box with about 30 hats: your standard baseball caps, visors, etc... Now, with all the sweat and dirt, it's probably a bad idea to store them in a dark box. So how do you organize your hat collection? Any rack you can recommend? Or do you put 30 nails into the wall? I saw this IKEA rack, still not enough for 30, but perhaps just stack them up? https://www.ikea.com/de/de/p/mackapaer-garderobe-hutablage-weiss-70334750/ Quote SpeedZone 9* w/ Aldila Rogue Silver 60 S X2 Hot 3 Deep 14.5* w/ Aldila Tour Green 75 S JetSpeed 5W 19* w/ Matrix Velox T 69 S OR Super LS 3H 19* w/ Kuro Kage Black 80 S JPX919 Forged 4-PW w/ Modus3 105 S Vokey SM7 50/08F, 54/14F & 58/08M w/ Modus3 115 Wedge ER1 34" w/ SuperStroke Fatso 2.0 Pro / H2NO Lite Cart Bag / 3.0 / NX7 Pro LRF My reviews: MLA Putter // Titleist SM7 // PING i500 // PuttOUT
yungkory
I use something like this: https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/over-the-door-cap-rack-set-of-2/1013378436 It might be that exact one, not sure I've had it for years. I have a mix of like 50 baseball hats and golf hats and it does pretty well for me (I have two of them hanging from the closet door) Quote Driver: Rogue ST Max LS Tensei AV Blue S 3w/5w: TSi2 Tensei AV Raw Blue S 4h: CLK 22* Hybrid Tensei CK Pro Blue 80HY S Irons 5-PW: 223 Steelfiber PR 95 S Wedges: RTX Zipcore Tour Rack 50, 54, 58 Steelfiber PR 105 Putter: LAB Link.1 Ball: Z-Star Diamond

GolfSpy BOS
I guess I’m not that good to them... but I don’t have many the I wear anyway. My two golf hats go in my dresser as they fit in with with my tee shirts. My other hats are all stacked in a bucket on a shelf in the closet. I don’t often wear one unless I’m golfing, doing yard work, or spending a lot of time outside in the sun (Disney, pool, etc). Also I should point out that I don’t have a lot of very structured hats. PMookie
I have two baskets my wife bought from Target. I have the hats separated by golf, and general. I “stack” them one after the other in four rows, stacked two-on-two. The backs of then hats are folded in, and up against each other so that each hat supports the front of another hat, just how they’re shipped from the factories. Kanoito
I know it's pretty trivial, but I used to store them like you guys said... stacked in the closet or in a box and after a few weeks you could see mold patches. That's why I'm thinking about a well-ventilated rack to avoid such issue. Cause I'm definitely not washing a hat after every round. I remember I still have some IKEA spare parts from a walk-in closet I built years ago, few metal rods and hooks, maybe I'll DIY and fabricate something. Thanks for the input! cnosil 1 Quote SpeedZone 9* w/ Aldila Rogue Silver 60 S X2 Hot 3 Deep 14.5* w/ Aldila Tour Green 75 S JetSpeed 5W 19* w/ Matrix Velox T 69 S OR Super LS 3H 19* w/ Kuro Kage Black 80 S JPX919 Forged 4-PW w/ Modus3 105 S Vokey SM7 50/08F, 54/14F & 58/08M w/ Modus3 115 Wedge ER1 34" w/ SuperStroke Fatso 2.0 Pro / H2NO Lite Cart Bag / 3.0 / NX7 Pro LRF My reviews: MLA Putter // Titleist SM7 // PING i500 // PuttOUT

I've worn mine interchangeably. In fact the best golf hats I have is one my daughter got me from the Sydney-Hobart race and another one I got from Lahina.. FYI we have a mud room with a coat rack - my most frequently used hats go there - so I can grab them on the way out. . No need for a special rack. Kenny B
I have several hats. Don't wear many of them so they sit on a shelf in the closet. Yard work hats are in the garage so I can grab on on my way outside. Golf hats that I routinely wear are in my closet car, and I grab which ever one I want when I cart up. Those get washed when after a round, my wife grabs them and puts them in the washer. She nicely puts the back where she found them. tony@CIC and JohnSmalls 2 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

SlowNLow
Being bald guy, I got hats, and like all golf equipment, the relationship is not infinite because they get funky from natural causes. Like day old beer. Golf hats, mostly Titleist and hats from northern MI resorts, Detroit Tigers and other MLB hats, WMU hats, U of M hats, Red Wings hats, even some Lions hats, and my new favorite PBR hat. NO SPARTY HATS. So the hats in the current batch are stacked on a closet shelf with SWMBO monitoring the quantities very closely. Hats which get rotated out end up in a large green sack in basement. Hopefully that sack is still there, SWMBO was "cleaning" down there and sometimes stuff just disappears. My stuff. PMookie

PMookie
Magic, Greg Kesler, Kirk Gibson are some great Sparties for sure. My niece graduated from MSU Vet school. Another great Sparty. But still no Sparty hats. We had season tickets to MSU football when I was a kid. My Dad coached HS basketball in Michigan for 40 years, and he coached against Magic when Magic was at Everett. To this day, Gibson and Magic are two of my favorite athletes all-time.Little known fact about Gibson: his Sr year, Iowa was at MSU, football. Gibby gets hit out of bounds after a catch, and he proceeds to beat the snot out of the guy. He’s ejected... I see Gibby at a Spring Training game in the early 90’s, I yell at him. “Gibby! Gibby!” He turns around. I yell, “I was there when you kicked the crap out of the Iowa team at MSU your Senior year!” His jaw drops, and he busts out laughing! Pumps his fist in the air. I yell, “Go green!” He pumps again!Loved that dude. Him being a Tiger cemented his place in my heart!!!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro SlowNLow and THEZIPR23 1 1 Quote Driver: Ping G430 Max 9*, Ping Tour 70X Fairway: Ping G425 15*, Ping Tour 70X Hybrid: Ping G425 22*, Ping Tour 80X Irons: Ping i230 4-GW, TT DG X100 Wedges: SMS 50D/54V/58DModus 130 stiff, +1” Putter: EAS 1.0 Ball: Titleist 2023 AVX
