Jchris05
I recently bought some honma 747v irons online with no adjustments. These things feel great when you strike a ball. But first thing I noticed is the toe of the club when addressing the ball. So I know I need lie angle adjusted. But my question is has anyone here taken their current irons in and had them tested for a whole new makeover. Loft lie shaft grip and flex? And is it worth having it done? Any advice would be great. Eric D.
There are so many variabilities in club options these days. I feel like it's an advantage to have all clubs fitted (putter too). Personally, I really like Club Champion. Guests Guest Delete Posted May 23, 2020 Guests Share Posted May 23, 2020 CanI have gone into the local golf shop a few times to have a set checked, tweaked, and/or optimized. A good thing to look for is dynamic testing instead of just static. Usually, they won't charge for just checking the loft and lie. And, you can usually get checked for lie on a lie board for free. My swing causes the head to drop a bit due to shaft flex which can look to upright at address. However, impact is perfect. Quote Link to comment
