To you guys: thank you.

I certainly never guessed when I first started lurking in these forums that I'd one day be one of the moderators. But when that opportunity presented itself, I threw in my application. I wanted to be a part because of two things: I love the approach to equipment and the industry that Adam, Tony, Harry, and everyone else has at MGS HQ.

But maybe even more, it was because I wanted to help contribute to the best forum on any topic I've ever found online. As a pastor, I've been part of theology forums that aren't as well behaved as you guys.

Thanks for all that each of you do to maintain that community here.

Thanks for putting up with my overly introspective, tediously analytic thread about my own middling game.

Thanks for indulging a proud dad who loves to share his wonder at the way his son swings a golf club.

Thanks to @GolfSpy STUDque and @Golfspy_CG2 for bringing me on as a mod. These guys, along with @GolfSpy Stroker, are a great team, and I'm glad to play my role with them.

It doesn't seem like that long ago you were discussing becoming a millennial with your 1,000th post. Now you're a doubillenial? Thank you for all your contributions to this forum, I really enjoy all the posts on your journey with Kirke, the do-it-yourself, discussions on equipment, and the job you do as a moderator. We've definitely got some of the best moderators on the internet. Congratulations on 2,000 and we look forward to many more!

Well done and great job With the forum. I think we somewhat live for seeing our kids enjoy something like golf and Kirke clearly loves the sport! I know I for one love seeing it...the next generation of players

I know Michael on a personal level and he is exactly what you would expect him to be from these forums. He was the correct choice as a moderator. Him and people like him are why this forum is successful. He is truly the ultimate tinkerer. He will nerd out on golf like no other. In a good way. I value his input on everything I ask him, from every aspect of my life. He is also a great friend. Good on ya Mike!
