BigtazzGolf
Hi spies. What's the best way to remove worn down soft spikes. Couple are worn down to the shoe.First thought is it drill but before I go that route, figured I'd see if yall had other options that may not damage the shoe. sirchunksalot
I just replaced the spikes on my shoes I use for some rounds of golf and for SuperSpeed. There were a few that were nubs. I used a pair of needle nose pliers and a set of vice grips. The needle nose were the better option, but you do have to squeeze pretty good. tony@CIC
First step is to pick the crud out of the holes then as@sirchunksalot said use small needle nose pliers. If that doesn't work they do sell a spoke extraction tool - generally comes with a standardremoval toolSent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy TR1PTIK, sirchunksalot and BigtazzGolf 3 Quote Left Hand orientation SIM 2 D Max with Fujikura Air Speeder Shaft Cobra Radspeed 3W/RIptide Shaft 410 Hybrids 22*, 26* Cobra Speed Zone 6-GP/Recoil ESX 460 F3 Shafts SM7 54* Wedge Glide 3.0 60* Wedge O Works putter V3 NX9-HD - 4 Wheel EZGO TXT 48v cart - too many shoes to list and so many to buy And BAG Boy Golf Balls: Vice Pro Plus 2020 Official Tester Beginning Driver Speed - 78 2019 Official Tester 410 Driver 2018 Official Tester C300

release
No Matter which method or tool you use to remove the spikes, first, moisten the spike as much as you could by spraying some water at the spike and soak the water into the crack of the threading. Old golf shoes had the dried up soil and dirt act like adhesive to lock in the thread. After wet down the thread, several times with water and let it sit for awhile to soften the dirt. Remove it with spike tool or pliers. BigtazzGolf and sirchunksalot
