Matt Saternus
I understand... Here is the story of the last time a putter went on a solo flight... I was playing in a league match. Just a little 9 hole thing at a short executive course that is completely ownable. There are 3 "par 4's" on one side, and the longest is 265. #1 246yd "par4" - I drive it on the green to 20 feet, and 3 tap it for par.. #2 112yd par 3 - hit it to 8 feet, 2 putt #3 105yd par 3 - hit it to 15 feet, 3 putt #4 154yd par 3 - hit it in the bunker, splash it out to 5 feet, miss that... #5 150yd par 3 - hit in to 25 feet, 2 putt #6 265yd "par4" - Drive it on the green, 35 feet.... 3 putt........ #7 185yd par 3 - hit it to 4 feet!!! MISS!!!!!!! #8 235yd "par4" - drive it to 25 feet........ 3 tap AGAIN. The putter ceased to live at this point.... This was one of my all-time greatest ball striking days ever, and I never ever sniffed a birdie. That is great ball striking, I think even the putter agreed that a flight was justified. Funky that is one sweet putter.... bag is not too shabby as well! LOL Never really looked at the Byron Morgan putters until recently but when I see ones like yours and other similar ones makes me feel like I'm going to have to meet this guy and work on a custom putter for myself!! Do it, you won't regret it. Follow me on Twitter: @MattSaternus
MmmmmmBuddy
That is great ball striking, I think even the putter agreed that a flight was justified. I don't even feel a bit bad about it. It was a Never Compromise GM2 Exchange. Retail cost of $199.99. I never felt better. Addicted2Golf
And all my headcovers, shirts, and hats auctioned off... haha And probably your MGS membership status revoked. Good to see another Ping irons guy on here. I was starting to think I was the only one with all these Titty and Mizuno bags. PingManKMB
Which Rifle shaft do you have in the irons, and how do you like them? Rifle not something too common found in the PING lineup. Just curious. "Hey Ace... You got any more of that gum?" I'm really hesitant to do any custom work unless its through Ping's WRX shop. Once you alter them, Ping will not honor the warranty and they won't perform work on them either. Funkyfedora
Meh. I am not too worried. I tinker a lot with clubs. The only thing I would ever want ping to do would be bend them flatter but I might wait and just get new clubs...
