Lead tape is to help get a desired swing weight. Like most of my irons are around D4.

Nice looking bag, Funky. More importantly, when did Asics start making golf shoes? I've been wearing Asics exclusively (when I have a choice, at least) for...geez, over 10 years. If their golf shoes are anywhere as good as their runners, I will be switching as soon as I wear out my adidas.

Thanks Matt. Asics made some for Shingo around the masters last year. They have them on the Golf Galaxy site. I REALLY want a pair. I just started wearing the running shoes and I am in love with them.

The custom engraving after your original drawings makes that putter. Not sure why you are looking at the Needle.

Except maybe because NICE PUTTERS ARE LIKE CRACK!!!!

that is exactly how I feel about my latest Byron order. I love my 006LN. putts fall like leaves in autumn. but I wanted the art putter to go with it. the new 006 is fully pimped out. if putts drop great, if it hangs on my wall where I can see it every day, that is good too.

 

I too want something Mannkrafted. My communications with him at various points about random things have been great. I missed the way too cheap Lux putters when he was pimping them. As soon as one of his models catches my eye, i will probably pull the trigger.

I figured that you had ordered them from Ping at the correct swing weight. I have been known to mess around with lead tape on putters to increase headweight and decrease the flight time. I hate having to walk a long way to pick up a putter.

I reshafted them with Rifle 6.5 soft stepped and I wasn't that exact with measurements so some were a little off. Therefore lead tape. I would never think of throwing my byron...
