Patpott
I've got a group of guys planning on playing some courses on the RTJ Golf Trail in June. We are looking at playing the courses at Grand National and Capitol Hill. Looking to hear whether anyone thinks it would be better to skip one of the 5 courses at these 2 places in order to play Cambrian Ridge. Thanks, Pat BigtazzGolf and Mtbryant01

Capitol Hill has the Senator course shut down as they are redoing the greens. I am not sure how long the it will be shut down. The Legislator and Judge are open and are in fantastic shape. Both are great courses I suggest playing. Grand National has two fun tracts also. The Links course is longer and tougher whereas the Lakes course has water on a lot of its holes. If I had to pick one to play, it would be the Lakes course. I haven’t played Cambrian Ridge yet, but I’d choose to play Ross Bridge first. It’s just one 18 hole course, but absolutely worth playing. Unique, challenging, and beautiful holes. Headhammer
Capital Hill is great, really love The Judge. I think most would agree that Ross Bridge is the jewel of the trail and if you were going to play just one that would be it. BigtazzGolf
RTJ courses are great. Something our group does when we go down is to find the hidden jewel course and play a round there as well. Do a lil search and you'd be surprised how good some of these courses can be compared to other courses.Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Patpott 1 Quote Grip n Rip it Chicks dig the LONG ball In my staff bag King F7+ Mitsubishi Tensei CK Pro White 60 - Graphite Tour X-Stiff CBX 13.5 3 Wood Atomic Irons 4-AW (reviewing) CG16 Satin 52* 588 RTX 2.0 56* and 60* Sentio Sierra 101-M Putter Proud tester of the Tommy Armour ATOMIC Irons
WaffleHouseTour
For five years I organized trips for 12-16 guys from Iowa to the RTJ in the spring. One of our favorites was always the short courses. So whatever you pick, keep that in consideration. We always finished the day with a skills challenge or some crazy games on the par three course. That tilts it to the Grand National and Cambrian.Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy Patpott 1 Quote Walking ahead of my BagBoy QuadXL w Alphard eWheels Driver: Callaway Mavrik SubZero 9* Neutral w stock Evenflow Riptide R flex shaft 3W Titelist TS2 15* Draw w Tensei Blue R flex 3H, 4H Cobra One Length F9 Speedback hybrids (1”short) w Fujikura Atmos R flex shaft 5I-GW Cobra Forged TEC Black One Length (1”short, 2* flat) KBS 90 R flex shafts 56, 60 Cobra King MIM One Length Black (1” short) KBS HiRev2.0 125 S flex shafts ER7 or Scotty Futura X - 35” OnCore Elixr (lemon or lime)

It’s just a real nice test of golf and a terrific piece of property. aerospace_ray 1 Quote Stealth 2 Plus 10.5* driver G425 14.5*, 17.5* FWs G425 22* hybrid i230 irons, 5 - W Glide 4.0 S 50*, 54*, 58* wedges EV 5.3 33"
