Shodags
I have a TaylorMade cart / stand bag I use regularly with my push cart, and like just fine. But I'm considering adding a lightweight carry bag, for those days when I play 9 holes and want to strap it on my back rather than push. Recommendations? My home course is somewhat hilly, so I'm looking for weight optimization and decent club organization. Dubv23
My suggestion for a “full feature” lite weight bag would be the Sun Mountain 2.5+. it’s under 3 pounds with a full size top, ample storage, comfortable straps, and a nice balance to it. It’s extremely comfortable to carry. I like the SM on hilly courses (like mine) because the foot mechanism kicks the legs out quicker and further so i find the bag more stable than the hoofer craze lite I was testing against. Josh Ross
I agree with Dubv23, Sun Mountain is my favorite bag. Tons of features and very comfortable to carry. ED13
I used a Sun Mountion four5 for years and still in great shape. A couple of years ago the set screw for the leg mechanism fell out. Called Sun Mountain to order a set screw and they sent me the whole leg mechanism for free. Just bought a C130 and both kids have Sun Mountain push carts. Happy to support them. ZenGolfer
Ive been really enjoying my Sun Mountain 2.5+. Its a lightweight bag that still has legs. I do wish that it had maybe 1 more pocket but its a lightweight bag and thats something you give up when you go lightweight.
