GolfSpy BOS
OGIO Fuse – 2020 Stand Bag Review For this season I’ll be using an OGIO Fuse stand bag. I got the bag as a warranty replacement from a broken clip on a prior Callaway bag that I had (Callaway own’s OGIO). I decided on the Fuse because I wanted a light and compact bag and much preferred the styling of the OGIO bags to Callaway’s 2020 offerings. Prior to this I have used an older OGIO hybrid bag (Grom maybe?) and a Nike Performance Hybird which was a great 14 way bag. Initial Impressions are great. It feels good, the zippers are solid and dividers are good external and internal. I would have liked 4 full dividers but having the 3 full works well enough as the middle section of the bag is a fully boxed divider unlike other lightweight bags that I’ve seen where they’re just not attached to the sides of the bag at all. The size seems just right for a carry bag and feels compact and solid when carrying. I liked the shape of the main pocket on this bag because its design allows it to be opened wide easily and it holds everything I need to carry. My rangefinder fits in one of the accessory pockets and I moved the rain hood to the pocket next to the water bottle holder. The top design does a good job of keeping the clubs quiet and organized as I did not notice a lot of chatter playing 9 last weekend. I was able to easily get my water out while walking and found the double strap system to be very comfortable. The bags material has a nice feel to it and it seems like it will stand the test of time. I’ll be updating this as I play more rounds and get some more use with it. In the meantime let me know if there’s anything you want to know about the bag and I’ll let you know my thoughts! cksurfdude
Interesting you feel it's light - do you know the weight offhand? Not important, just curious, as if picked over to in a store and in that scientifically rigorous test it felt a bit on the heavy side for a carry bag to me. Nice looking bag, tho, and nice features!I didn’t weigh it before hand, but I’ve seen 4.4lbs floating around. What I really like so far is the straps are very well designed. The Callaway bag before that I was using (a hyperlite3) just seemed to want to say “look at all the cushioning!” But it wasn’t really comfortable. The OGIO padding looks thinner but they support you much better.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk sirchunksalot 1 Quote Epic Max LS 10.5 - Motore X F3 6X | Speedzone 5-wood - Ventus Blue 8S | TSi3 20* Hybrid - KBS Proto 85S SMS Pro 4-PW - Steelfiber i110S | MG3 Raw Black 50.09, 54.11, 58.11 - DG TI S200 ER2B | Pro V1x | NX9 Slope | Jones Trouper R | CaddyLite EZ v8
Maccaroni_tiime
I'm between the hoofer and this, everyone says the hoofer is the gold standard. But this looks like a contender, good pics GolfSpy BOS and sirchunksalot
GolfSpy BOS
I have no doubt that the Hoofer is a good bag and I like a lot of the features and design that it has (especially the pockets), but I have grown to despise bags that collapse at the base to kick the legs out. I get that it give more of a stable base and probably a better leg system, but I have always had clubs bind and pinch with those because the dividers bunch up or don't go all the way down. I played 18 yesterday carrying on a hilly course and have zero complaints about club binding or not being able to get one back in. I think this top and internal dividers are designed very well. I also used to get some small bruise/rubmarks from the straps on my Nike hybrid bag which has not happened with the Ogio. They have the right amount of padding to be comfortable and supportive yet also look streamlined. Hopefully I'll be out there again soon to continue my review! sirchunksalot 1 Quote Epic Max LS 10.5 - Motore X F3 6X | Speedzone 5-wood - Ventus Blue 8S | TSi3 20* Hybrid - KBS Proto 85S SMS Pro 4-PW - Steelfiber i110S | MG3 Raw Black 50.09, 54.11, 58.11 - DG TI S200 ER2B | Pro V1x | NX9 Slope | Jones Trouper R | CaddyLite EZ v8
GolfSpy BOS
Alright, I figured it was time for an update as I played two rounds in NH and it was the first time I've had the bag on a cart. The cart pass-through worked perfectly and kept my bag secure, even though I had the cart to myself one day. I had no issues accessing any pockets or with clubs tangling or anything like that. Overall I really like this bag as a fairly compact carry bag that can be used on a cart. If I were to find any faults so far I would say the valuables pocket might be too deep? It's hard to get your hand all the way to the bottom, but that's because its really deep. And the pocket next to the bottle pocket is on the harder side to get into, but I put the rainhood in there and use the main pocket for almost everything anyway. So I can live with that. It's been a super comfortable carry so far. More rounds coming before I'll be testing out a Cobra bag... so future updates and a rating coming! sirchunksalot and GolfSpy_SHARK 2 Quote Epic Max LS 10.5 - Motore X F3 6X | Speedzone 5-wood - Ventus Blue 8S | TSi3 20* Hybrid - KBS Proto 85S SMS Pro 4-PW - Steelfiber i110S | MG3 Raw Black 50.09, 54.11, 58.11 - DG TI S200 ER2B | Pro V1x | NX9 Slope | Jones Trouper R | CaddyLite EZ v8
sirchunksalot
How did I miss this thread until now? That's one beautiful bag @B.Boston! How well is it staying clean? I like the look of a predominately white bag, but I'd be afraid of getting it dirty. I can't wait to see how the Cobra bag compares to this. I’ve read about applying scotch guard or such but I haven’t done that. Here’s where the bag would touch the wet grass I’ve played in and the rub from the cart straps: sirchunksalot and GolfSpy_SHARK 2 Quote Epic Max LS 10.5 - Motore X F3 6X | Speedzone 5-wood - Ventus Blue 8S | TSi3 20* Hybrid - KBS Proto 85S SMS Pro 4-PW - Steelfiber i110S | MG3 Raw Black 50.09, 54.11, 58.11 - DG TI S200 ER2B | Pro V1x | NX9 Slope | Jones Trouper R | CaddyLite EZ v8

GolfSpy BOS
I’m continuing to like this as a fairly light and compact carry bag. And I DO really like the white even though I anticipate it will get dirty. One day I’ll have to look at way to clean it, but I won’t worry about a little character on the bag. sirchunksalot 1 Quote Epic Max LS 10.5 - Motore X F3 6X | Speedzone 5-wood - Ventus Blue 8S | TSi3 20* Hybrid - KBS Proto 85S SMS Pro 4-PW - Steelfiber i110S | MG3 Raw Black 50.09, 54.11, 58.11 - DG TI S200 ER2B | Pro V1x | NX9 Slope | Jones Trouper R | CaddyLite EZ v8
