I’ve read a glove should last 6 to 10 rounds, but IME that must be from a glove manufacturer. I usually change gloves every 6 months, and I average 1.5 rounds/week so I’ll play the same glove for about 30-40 rounds. In summer I rotate between two gloves, one would get too slippery after 9 or so.

If you rotate gloves, please factor that in - e.g. if you rotate between two gloves and change (both) every 20 rounds, you’re effectively getting 10 rounds from your gloves.

Ignore outliers, replaced due to damaged or dirty earlier than typical.

I live in a dry climate and probably play 20+ rounds with the same glove. I wear the MG Elite.

Got 37 years on mine. A few scars here and there. But overall I think they’re holding up well.

I like these gloves but shipping to Hawaii kills the deal unfortunately. If I lived anywhere else I'd probably be playing these still.

Switched to the Kirkland glove when they first came out. I liked it but they're a little too thick. Caused my already sweaty hands to sweat more.

Playing the Nike tour glove, got them for $19 each on sale. I've got about 20 rounds on the first one now and it's starting to lose the white color in spots around the wrist, but it has stayed "non-crispy" and doesn't need to be replaced yet

I usually get 30-50 rounds out of one. My hands aren’t very sweaty and the first thing to go is the thumb starts to rip. I wonder what that says about my grip pressure... 😳

I can’t imagine the sight or smell of a glove that has been used for 50x 18 hole rounds...#yuck

Made the mistake of a few years back buying the "insurance" for a FJ glove. Had a year to develop any type of wear issue. Never did! So now I cannot bring myself to wear any other glove.

I’ve been using the FJ WeatherSof glove, 2 for $19.99. I bought a $30 FJ Pure Touch Limited, it ripped the first round I played with it...

I play anywhere from 2-4 rounds a week with 1-2 times of range work as well and my gloves last maybe a month before the palm or thumb wears a hole. Typically the palm shreds and I'll keep using it until the thumb is worn.

Rinse, repeat.

I definitely don't care for gloves as well as I should, but I tend to hit the range more often than the course.

Playing more 9 hole rounds this year actually when usually I would have done a range session.  Only about 2 months for me on gloves and that may mean 4 rounds of golf and 6 range sessions.  I guess you could say that would be equal to 10 rounds of golf.

The time of season changes how long the glove will last for me. It can get pretty humid in TN come July / August. You can go through a glove every 9 before it is saturated. I have to hit take the glove off, hold it out in the breeze from driving the golf cart. Put it on take a shot and so on. Spring and fall they last 20 rounds maybe. Summer less than 10.

They last about 20 rounds and I usually switch between two gloves per round. I prefer Foot Joy (can't recall the model) and they usually wear out in the palm before anything else. Reminds me I need to get more now.

I used to store them in a zip lock bag in my golf bag and they seemed to not dry out as much between rounds.
