alexhofeldt
The putter and the weight set came in today! The putter is a little long, but feel stable and poppy. I wouldn’t call it soft, but I would call it crisp. It has the look of a squareback with a matte finish. I will hopefully roll some outside today, but I have already rolled a bunch on the putting mat. I am a mallet spider guy for 5 seasons, but I played a Newport midslant while college golfing so I am excited to get back to it. I do love the spider X though. What would you guys like to know or have me communicate to you. At first look and whack... 180 for milled putter with weights, rifled shaft (don’t know the brand) and a super stroke seems legit so far. juspoole
Best of luck with it. What do you think the closest comparison would be to anything else out in your opinion? downlowkey
Nice work scoring a weight kit @alexhofeldt - that first batch sold out quick! I’d be curious to hear your thoughts about the “fit & finish” of Costco’s first foray into the milled putter market. Things like: grip alignment, finishing buff/polish (particularly the matte areas), face milling precision, actual length, magnetic/velcro headcover, etc. Edit: we also love macro pics of new equipment releases around here, so I would encourage you to snap away and share. artful_golfer and JohnSmalls 2 Quote PXG___0811 X 9* - Mitsubishi Diamana s60 Limited X Cobra___S9-1 Pro 15* - Matrix Ozik XCON 7 S Adams___XTD Forged 3i - Matrix Ozik Program F15 120 S Adams___CMB 4-PW - Matrix Ozik Program F15 120 S KZG___Tri-Tour 50.08__54.10__58.12 - Accra iCWT 2.0-95i S Nike___Method Converge B1-01 (copper insert) Maxfli___'23 Tour X "The most important shot in golf is the next one“

alexhofeldt
It is for sure a legit SuperStroke. I’ll take more pics for sure for you all. I am hitting it right now right next to my Pro Platnium Scottie and a Taylormade Spider X. The sound is the same as the Cameron and the feel is very similar to a pro platnium. First thoughts are that this putter is legit and I am stoked that I randomly woke up early and check Costco.com ha ha. connerp93 1 Quote M5 Taylormade w/Hazrds Yellow (small batch) Ping G410 Hybrid w/Evenflow protoype Taylormade 4-PW P-750 w/C-Taper Lite Taylormade HiToe 50, 54, 60 w/project-x Scotty Squareback or Spyder X
Esteban Tornado
Played 18 with mine today. This putter is nice, has a medium feel, rolls the ball nicely, I rolled in a few 15-20 footers and a couple short breakers which held the line well. I think this is a good putter and if it was a “name” putter, it would in be $299-350 range. Ultimately I will be returning it tho because I’m flush with putters I like and I don’t feel like putting the time to dial in the putter to my specs. But if you have the time and the weight kit, I would definitely check this putter out. Ps. My putter was built with no defects that you hear of, the grip was aligned square. Josh Ross
Has anyone seen these in store yet? I'm wondering if they'll have a model available to mess with before just buying one. Seems odd to buy a club in a box with no way to see if it looks and feels like you'd want it to. Edit: I'm sure they don't have any out right now due to germ spreading but I wonder if they will in the future. alexhofeldt
Here are some more pics boys. I think it is clean and I am really excited to put it in play. I have been out of the putter game for a while since I have used an OG itsybitsy TM putter for years, but I dig it. The head cover is a little tight and seems like it could fit better, but maybe it will stretch. cnosil 1 Quote M5 Taylormade w/Hazrds Yellow (small batch) Ping G410 Hybrid w/Evenflow protoype Taylormade 4-PW P-750 w/C-Taper Lite Taylormade HiToe 50, 54, 60 w/project-x Scotty Squareback or Spyder X

Jwhite86
I used mine for the first time on Saturday. It's not likely going to beat out my gamer, but I never thought it would. I feel like I struggled getting balls to the hole, like I couldn't hit them hard enough. That may have something to do with it being an insert putter as opposed to solid. I'm planning on bagging it on Tuesday for league play to give it another go. Cosmetically, the shiny cavity graphic/ medallion would reflect in the sun and I saw "Kirkland" on the flange, which didn't bother me but would bother others. Also, the weights got grass stained during my round, and I'm not really sure how. It doesn't effect performance in any way, but I found it weird. As previously stated, the headcover isn't a great fit. Overall, it's a solid putter, and if I wanted to dedicate some serious time I could see gaming, but I'll be sticking with my Cameron and will keep this one around for kicks. I'd like to get my hands on a weight kit and play around with different combinations to see if that will change the feel. cnosil 1 Quote WITB Driver: Titleist TSi2 9º w/ Diamana DF 60 TX 3 Wood: Titleist 915F 16.5º w/ Diamana Blueboard or Taylor Made 300 Mini 11.5º w/ Fuji Ventus TR Red Hybrids: Callaway Super Hybrid 17º w/ Tensei Orange Titleist 816 H1 21º w/ Diamana Blueboard or Srixon U85 w/ UST Recoil Irons (6-43º): Titleist T400 w/ DG AMT Red Wedges: 48º Vokey SM6, 54º SM8, 60º Tour Issued Hand Ground Vokey Putter: Titleist Scotty Cameron Newport Masterful Tourtype SSS CT A048277

I'm keeping it. Glad I bought the weight kit. I went out and used mine for the first time on a course this last weekend as well and was pretty happy with it. I wasn't lucky enough to pick up a weight kit though as they were all out of stock by the time I got my order to go through. Between the somewhat slow greens I played and the stock lightweight head of the putter I kept coming up short, but mostly right on my line. Will be happy when they restock the weights so I can make some adjustments, but overall VERY happy I picked this putter up. (though truth be told, I had never played an Anser style putter before and am somewhat using this as my trial run and if all continues to go well may end up buying a Scotty once I get my weights and such dialed in). Glad to hear you liked yours too! Would love for more people to enjoy this putter so they expand the line. The 19th Hole
Got to go play again yesterday with this putter. The greens on this course were much more my speed and the putter weight never entered my mind. Only 1 putt felt like I hit it poorly and missed my intended line. All in all I hit only 26 putts. It has been a while and several putters (I think since before they banned anchoring) that I could say that. All in all I am LOVING this putter so far.
