What's spare time? amirite?

Outside of golf, what do you do? Collect stamps? Run? Assemble model cars? Film buffs?

I've trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts for the past 11 years and still teach it today. Photography/video for the past 8 years (concerts, nature, street, and ran a successful BJJ review site), and now I've golfed for the past 6 years I think.

What say you MGS? Hobbies, do you speak it?

Dungeons & Dragons has taken over the off season. I've been playing twice a week during quarantine. We owned a pool table as a kid so I used to play a ton. Play cards and other board games.

Lots of time in the woodshop or on the tractor. Plus a new 4 month old took the rest of the free time I had :) but I'll have him on the course in not time!

When this crap is over, we are going camping twice a month.

Heading north in to West Virginia. Get some fly fishing, and stress relief.

I used to live in Billings and would fish the Stillwater often.  Made it over to Madison once, and of course Yellowstone.  All my fly gear sits unused these days.

Not much of anything besides golf. I dabble a bit in a variety of things, but nothing seriously enough to be considered a hobby in the same way as golf. I used to do BMX, but age and lack of fitness took care of that. Currently trying to get myself back in shape and considering getting back into it or perhaps mountain biking. I miss being on two wheels.

Playing an electric guitar is on my bucket list.  If I can't come back as a PGA Touring Pro, I'll try a gig as Eric Clapton or Tom Petty.

You've got some fantastic waters around you.  Have you ever fished Warm Springs (Mecca Flats) on the Deschutes for Redsides?  The Salmon Fly hatch (happening now) is crazy fun. Of course, you have to trade pictures taking and golf time... decisions, decisions. 😆

I’d love to be a rock star, but the largest gig I’ve played was an acoustic gig for my kids Girl Scout meeting.
