rowjow
Looking at buying new clubs and want to see what clubs you guys love. I'm actually vearing towards ping s56 irons and a titleist 910 drivers.. Just wondering what you guys would play if you could have any set.. Mine would be: Driver: Titleist 910 D2 / R11 3 wood: Titleist 910 / R11 Hybrid: Titleist 910 / R11 Irons (4-PW): Ping S56 / Mizuno MP 63/62 Wedges (52* and 58*): Titleist Vokey/ Ping Tour-S Putter: Rossa Corza Ghost Right now 14 handicap but coming down quickly.. Any advice on what clubs I should get and what you play would be great!

RookieBlue7
Get whatever fits you best and you hit the best. It doesn't really matter what name is on it. I, personally, have the set I want. After 12 drivers, I got into the one I like and fits me. Here's my set: TMag R11 9 deg driver TMag R11 17 degree 4 wood TMag Rescue11 21 deg hybrid Adams Tour Issued CB2 4-7 iron (4 not used) Adams Tour Issue CB1 8-GW Scratch Tour Dept 1018 56 & 60 deg wedges Callaway X-Forged Vintage 64 deg wedge SeeMore FGP custom -or- Scotty Newport 2.6 I had pretty much every current driver on the market. The 910 was before this R11. It wasn't as good for me. Though if Titleist would sell the SureFit tip instead of forcing you to buy a shaft from them, I may could have gotten one that fit me better in it. GolfSpy WD
Can't go wrong with most forged irons/wedges. I'm very happy with my set, but if I were to pick from a major OEM, it would be: TMag Burner Superfast 2.0 9.5* Driver TMag Burner Superfast 2.0 15* 3-wood Adams Idea Pro Black 3+4 Hybrid Mizuno MP-63 5-PW Mizuno MP-T11 Forged Wedges Odyssey Putter of some sort @GolfSpy_WD

RookieBlue7
Did you get professionally fit or was this trial and error? I fit myself, I do all of my own builds and fittings. Buy what I need and make it happen. As for the drivers, I had one I loved last year (9032LS with Tour Issue Matrix F7M2LTD limited gold) and came out this season and wanted the new 9064. From there, it spiraled downhill, not liking anything until I got into the R11. Really hope I win the 9088 on here, cause I'm an Adams junkie (just got rid of my 9031 hybrids, which were almost pried away from me, cause I loved them. Just couldn't hit either of the new drivers, though I did have an admitted swing flaw, I never could get a feel for one. I'm betting now I could hit one of them (likely the 9064)). Regardless, I'm happy with the current setup for the time being. The irons are the centerpiece and are definitely the BEST irons I've ever hit in my life. Matt Saternus
I prefer a nice set of C cups on a small fit frame from the far east, with blond hair and green eyes! Bravo. I think Miura 501's with KBS C-Tapers would be the start of mine, not sure where I'd go from there. Follow me on Twitter: @MattSaternus
