What is the #1 goal for your game this year?

As you can see I got some time on my hands today, so share your golf goals for this season.

To be able to play.

I’d like to improve my Driving accuracy.

Break 90 and then do it consistently.

My goal is to improve my short game, most notable everything from 100 yards and in

That goal was to qualify for the Districts which have been postponed to next year. 

So, time for a new goal. 
 

Maybe a bit simple but hear me on this one. Not let my emotions derail a round; for me to find ways to recover from poor shots and fight through bad swings.

Done it once, and I cant wait to do it again, it is an amazing feeling, I do want to write a 2 and a 3 in a par 5 too.

Short game is really tough to master specially anything that you don't need a full swing, I have been working on keeping my head still and not look at the ball for at least a second after impact, it seems to help me get more consistance out of the short shots

To be able to play is the key right now.

I have modest goals really. Play enough to obtain an official handicap and to play in Veteran Golfers Association events in my area.

So my goal was always to finally break 80. I did it for the first time in 2019 and a couple more times since then. I set what felt like a lofty goal at the time to shoot or break 75. I thought it was going to take as long to do that as it would take me to break 80, but the planets aligned last Saturday and I ended up doing it. A sub-goal of mine was to finally have less than 30-putts, which came on the same day.

So I guess my new goal is to shoot even par. However, I don't expect that to happen this year, more of a career thing. So for an obtainable goal that I believe is do-able this year, I would like to drop my handicap to a 7 or lower. Baby steps!

1. Shoot my age
2. Play golf with @cksurfdude... which can also include anyone else that happens to be around.

2 goals for the year:

1) Sitting at a 10.3 handicap, would love to get to under 10 and stay there for a little bit.

2) Improve my short game. Minimize those annoying 3 putts.
