It was worth the wait! That GW does look fantastic. How did you like the feel of the sonar?

Sonars felt really nice, and I'm going to like the integrated sensors more than the screw-ins.

I chipped exactly one ball with the gap wedge and the face felt extremely hot. Going to be curious to see how gapping works out at the bottom of the bag with my two wedges.

The GW, if it's anything like the F8, will be a weapon around the green. They have progressive shaping throughout the set with the longer irons being a hollow body design, the short (8-PW) being CB, and the GW is a traditional wedge design.

Sonars felt really nice, and I'm going to like the integrated sensors more than the screw-ins.
I chipped exactly one ball with the gap wedge and the face felt extremely hot. Going to be curious to see how gapping works out at the bottom of the bag with my two wedges.

I like the feel of the integrated sensors as well. Two of them aren’t quite rock solid in there for me though so I sometimes feel it wiggle in there. At first. I thought one of the weights or hosel on the driver was loose. Once I realized what it was I calmed down. Haha

They look a lot better in your video than I was expecting to see! A little meat behind it but its really not bad looking for the forgiveness level you should get. Can’t wait to hear more once you hit them!

I was opposite with the sensors the grip ones feel a little thicker just felt different. Could have been in my head though. Preferred the screw ins

My issue with the screw-ins is that I tend to grip right to the end of the club. Because the Arccos sensors are so bulky compared to RFID systems like ShotScope or GAME Golf, I keep finding myself gripping onto the sensor, and I have to be very careful about that.

I had the same issue at first I just have adjusted to grip at the top of the grip only and not get up to the sensor.

Took some doing and getting adjusted to through some range time  but it’s the same width which I have a preference to

I'm going to unwrap and spec check everything later today or tomorrow, but I stuck a couple irons and the driver on my swing weight scale and Cobra pretty much nailed my custom specs. So massive props to them for that. I had requested the irons at D2 at 1/2" short (stock they are supposed to be at D1 with the longer length) and they appear to be right near D2, if not a touch heavier. 

Didn't want to create a massive post with a ton of pictures, so I stuck them in a slideshow on YouTube. Let me know if there's anything in particular you want to see, and I can grab some more pictures.

Brilliant Cody, love the photos and the video was superb!! The soles on the irons look exactly like my F9s but the top line is very different. I do think I could get used to the carbon very quickly.

Sorry if this was talked about before but I did not realize there was an "infinity" symbol on the face of the driver. Did a quick search and of course there is a reason for it right?

For the group - with Arccos Caddie Link being talked about in the recent article, Caddie Link, and taking pre-orders, would you pay an EXTRA $100 to not have your phone in your pocket?  It says the sensors are sold separately, so you'd be looking close to $300 if you didn't already have the sensors.

I have always had my phone in my pocket anyway... so it really doesn't bother me.  That being said, The LINK is quoted as basically having enough power to get through two rounds of golf.  I know that on my phone old phone getting through one 18 hole round would leave me with less than 50% battery.  Being able to use the LINK for GPS data and only needing the phone's bluetooth to transfer over should save a lot of battery power, and that's only if you want to check during the round.

For that it might be worth it.  Tough to say right now, but as I said, I have no issues with my phone in my pocket during a round.

No issues with the phone in my pocket, although I have a smaller phone (Samsung Galaxy S10e) and a slim case. I wouldn't pay for the Link. As I mentioned above, my biggest issue with Arccos so far has been that I don't like the big sensors.

I got to hit a couple irons and the driver at the range on lunch break. There is a lot of forgiveness built into both the driver and irons, which I need sometimes. I'm not swinging particularly well at the moment (lots of weak fades), but the irons kept so many shots on line with minimal distance loss.

I'm getting the club face too open in the backswing with everything, which definitely does not bode well for the driver, but I did put a good swing on one toward the end of the session:

These are crap range balls that I'm guessing cost a few MPH ball speed. Really enjoyed the Aldila Rogue, and was very pleased with the spin as well considering it's the Xtreme.

Oh, and the sound. The sound is heavenly. Very old school aluminum bat sound. Got a few looks. So much better than the Epic Flash.

Nice! I’ve been feeling some great stuff from the Speedzone as well. No numbers right now tho to back any of it up.

That's a screenshot from my FlightScope Mevo, I just clipped off the rest of the screen. Fun little device. I bought it primarily because it auto-clips video on each swing.

We did just get a TopTracer range locally here, but I have not been there. Doesn't give the exact same data, but handy nonetheless.

You know I really thought playing with my phone in my pocket was going to be a PIA, but really I don't mind it at all. I am not familiar with all the functionality of the Link, but if you still need your phone for GPS, then I would not spend the extra $$$. If the Link has a GPS function then absolutely YES!

Cody, the video was extremely helpful. Thank you! Not in the driver market, but omg ... absolutely love that matte black finish with the white paint.

I’ve also looked at the SZ iron specs at Cobra’s site and I’m shocked to see how little offset there is with them (which is my preference) and especially with the PW and GW ... for such a game improvement category. 

How do the irons overall look at address with the offset?

I have the same issue.  It's less drastic on my CP2 grips which have a harder plastic "Control Core" grip end.  But my hands have since found their way off the end of that and onto the sensor.

Here is a shot of my Original King Cobras and the Speedzone 7-irons. While the bottom of the SZs are little chunkier, it's really not reflected in the top line and the offset is really negligible at address.

I honestly never even considered the SZ irons and will need to stop into a local golf shop and check them out. Been obsessed with the TECs and the OL idea since this announcement started. 

My current TM M1 irons have been great for me, but the address of their PW and GW is just too much offset and it just looks like a shovel behind the ball. 

Based on specs, 4 thru 7/8 are about the same for both sets ... but for the 8/9 and on down with the SZs, they have less offset. 

Do you start seeing the back of the club with the 5 or 6 irons?

top line fools the eye into it looking thinner, much like my Wilson C300's, which have the urethane filled slots.  Those have a much cooler 

look to them though with that silver carbon or whatever weave that is.

Yes, you do start to see it a bit when you get to the 6 & 5. I thought that it would be distracting, but the graphite strip pulls your eye back to the top line.
