#COBRACONNECT Challenge 4

I got the SpeedZone 4 iron shafted with a new 75 gram X-Caliber Rapid Taper graphite shaft. Saved the Lamkin Sonar grip. At 39.75" it swing weighted out to D2 to match everything else.
Only had a chance for 5-6 swings after my lesson this afternoon, but it felt really good. Hoping it becomes a fairway finder for windy days.

Makes me wonder if something like that could be a forgiving but more fade biased alternative to the Speedzone hybrid.... [emoji3166][emoji3166][emoji3166]

A bit late posting I know but finally got a chance to take em out to the course today. Was worried because they were a half size too long but after playing in them for my round today, I have to say they fit just fine. Originally was trying to see if Puma would do an exchange but the reply from customer service was no we do not exchange items won in a promo so...but can't complain! Thanks again @GolfSpy STUDque for trying to help out with the exchange anyway and for a great opportunity!

Got another (probably final) shipping notification yesterday. Hopefully I’ll have the full ensemble for a scramble in playing in next weekend.

That's my favorite color way of those shoes. I have a brand new pair with the DISC laceless system ready for next season.

Close. Played nine today, supposed to be nice weather this week and hoping to get out for 18 with the brother-in-law. I was bundled up today with sweater, pants, pullover and winter hat since it was 48 and drizzling.

On that note, I'm getting into a nice groove with the SpeedZone irons. Hit a couple of really good shots today, hit six greens (just missed one long, too) and am finding them to feel really nice. I was pretty disappointed in my play with them during the challenge, but I'm happy with how I'm ending off the season.

Highlight shot of the day was a stinger 6 iron from about 165 out under a tree that I put to within 15 feet. Absolutely pured it.

@GolfSpy MPR is a 9 hour drive north, ergo the snow already. Hoping we don't see anything too soon. It can stay up there...

I do. I'm just cheap. The best two are like $60/hour. I'm hoping that the winter won't be too harsh and I can get to the heated range once a week. I can stomach $14/large bucket just to keep the swing somewhat tuned.

Ah that’s tough. They put on in a few years back a mile from the house. 40 bucks for the hour which is worth it. Going to try to get there 1-2 times a week this year.

We just had a place like that open up 5 minutes from me. They have a monthly program that you can subscribe to and save you a bunch if you just use it 2 hrs a month. I told the dude working that’d he’d be seeing me ALOT.
Might check and see if places around you all have something similar!

People forget about the humidity in Houston though! Here in the desert areas of SoCal where I live and play, it gets dry heat. Played in 100+ on Friday and went through 4 liters of water and still had neon yellow pee after the round lol

Glad you're able to get back out after not being able to play for so long. You planning on taking the SpeedZone? Have fun out there and let us know how it goes.

After over a month of no golf, shoulder and leg injuries in between, I got a chance to go out and play.

We played the back 9 of Lakes of Taylor twice this morning. it was the maiden round of the SpeedZone Xtreme, and oh boy was it ever good.

Again I cannot thank @GolfSpy STUDque Cobra, Arccos and MGS for the awesome prize.

I hit it from every tee box except the par 3s, so I got 14 hits overall.

I average 220 yards off the tee. which is up 11 yards from the TS2.

For the entire summer, I hit my TS2 driver 159 times with a pretty even misses left and right, and very low fairway hits.

As for the Cobra, well it was a day of fairways, of the 14 shots 13 were fairways, to the right shots were still on the fairway, I do not know why Arccos marked them as a miss.

This club was amazing today, the left duck hook that I hit only went 139 yards, but it was not at all bad.

The cobra fells lighter than the TS2 and a bit shorter.

I had no issues on finding the center or close to center of the club face with consistence.

The red circle was my worse shot of the day.

The club looks awesome at address.

The SpeedZone is here to stay.

I shot 45 and 46 respectively, which I am pretty happy about it.
