I have definitly done some really dumb and risky things jn my life but I can say snake kissing, board ball busting and gator wrangling did not make the cut

@GB13 is the wannabe assassin, so for him I'm going with Storm Shadow. Sure, he's a cool looking ninja, but who are you going to sneak up on wearing white? I mean, like @GB13, you can see him coming a mile away.

Speaking of assassins, that leaves our guy @Headhammer. He's just sitting back, blending in waiting for his moment to strike a deadly blow to our competitors. Like Zartan.

That leaves @edingc, who was the tough one to figure out. He's over here distracting us with his calves like Phil working the long, for lack of a better word, con on all of us. The master strategist, Dr. Mindbender.

 

I don’t know if I’m more impressed with the narrative, or the authentic action figure pics.  Either way, bravo sir.

Oh yeah.  I’ve done my fair share of “should have ended worse” things.  But mess around with a giant gator or that other act of brilliance!!!  No sir... not happening.

As long as there aren’t any ears bitten off... that would have been a fun match to watch.  Ali vs. Tyson.

That was the last boxing match I ever watched.  The Tyson / Evander Eargate.

The Ali vs. Tyson would be like Seve vs. BAD... you all know where my money would be...

Stupid stuff we've done.. Hmmm lets see, I jumped a truck on a quad.. I cartwheeled said Quad at about 80mph, in a race.. we used to drive along the river at night without headlights on.. Jumped a bug over a 35 ft jump.. yeah still not doing the Gator thing or the cobra kissing.. NOt gonna happen..

I saw the same thing earlier today, and it blew my mind. Tyson is still a beast at his age and I don't know you could pay me enough to step in the ring with him.

I prefer to think of them as Chester and Spike. I'll let you all decide which is the annoying one.

My Cobras definitely performed better than my baseline clubs did. Driving was only .2 better, but the approach was almost 5 shots better, and the chipping was 3 shots better. Another thing to note, is that I didn’t strike the ball all that well, the irons are just much more forgiving than my PINGs. I had a lot of toe hits that were more than playable.

 Putting has always been my strength, so a putting handicap that low isn’t all that surprising. Not to go off on a tangent, but I LOVE my putter!!

I went from 2.5 up to standard. Not to let the lie board off the hook, but I wasn’t fitted at all for my previous irons, and the 2.5 up was an (un)educated guess on my part.

Oh, even as a fairly low capper, I don’t think any drivers are anywhere near as forgiving as advertised. Even a slight mishit sacrifices significant distance. The bombs that you’ll see me periodically hit throughout the competition, are the only shots that I really hit off the screws. It really gives you incredible respect for just how consistent the pros are.

One thing I haven’t touched on, is how much I’m liking the MIM wedges around the green. I haven’t figured out the full swings yet, but these things are pretty versatile out of almost any lie. The 50° is great for chips that have plenty of room, and the 58° is very good for flops and quicker stopping shots. I can’t wait to add the 54° to my arsenal. Also, I really love the feel at impact, it’s very “solid”. 

 

I thought I was a much better iron player. Pacing off putts and actually “knowing” how far a putt is has really opened my eyes to how poor my proximity is, and how good my putting is.
