Optimizing the Driver - Besides speed what is the best condition to up the ball speed.

Angle of Attack

Impact point on the clubface

Forward lean of the shaft

Anything Else I'm missing. Thanks so much....I have no idea how to read my data....My ball flies relatively straight with a push cut but at 115 avg. I can only squeeze out 169mph ball speed.  How do I optimize my smash factor?

Appreciate it.

I’m not sure you necessarily want forward shaft lean with the driver but I have been wrong before. Impact location would be #1 IMO.

I agree. While I'm not an expert, I would think that forward shaft lean delofts the driver.

You're only leaving 3 mph on the table with a perfect smash factor.  It's all strike location and finding the center of the face.  Without increasing club head speed you really have 2 things you can improve to hit the ball farther.  (Assuming a properly fit driver)  Find the center of the face more, have a positive angle of attack.

You swing about the same as me: have you seen your stats on a track man/launch monitor? What’s your carry?  I’m 1.5 degrees down and my preference is to cut/fade the ball. Avg carry for me is 285. Besides hitting slightly high dead center, the only way to get more distance from my swing would be to come from the inside more and try to hit draws. I gave up on that after a year and just play the cut: it’s far more repeatable/forgiving for me. Tour avg swing speed is 113, and your ball speed is very high compared to almost any golfer...

Keep in mind not all monitors read club head speed the same way, so I wouldn't put a ton of energy into increasing your smash factor. Same result, but think to increase ball speed.

You may get 3-5 yards more on a perfect shot but you are not going to get much more ball speed with that SS.

Are you looking for more distance?
