We have a diverse group of golfers out there. What is the average cost of a round of golf in your area? Use weekend rates, 18 holes with a cart for comparison. List your general location.

I live in North East Tennessee. Rates range between $30.00 and $40.00

Western Michigan, weekend 18 rates can run from $30-$100, depending on the type of course you want to play. 

There are some bargains in the $40-$50 range, however.

Central Ohio and it really depends where you play.  Theres munis that you can play for around $15, theres kind of mid level courses that will set you back $35-$50 and theres some really nice courses that will set you back close to $100.

I tend to play the cheap munis most often but a handful of times during the year I will spring for a mid-level course.  I tend to avoid the $100 courses because if Im going to spend that kind of money, its a special occasion destination type course; not some course close to home that I can play any time.

Northeast Ohio. I'd say most courses are between $40-50 on a weekend with cart. I think the most expensive is about $75. (Pete Dye layout)

Here in the Charlotte, NC area the average is $40-$50 per round. That’s your average nice public course. Plenty of options, many cheap courses in the $20 range and also many higher end tracks at $65 plus.

What the average rate is and what I pay are two different things.

I pay between $25 and $32 for an afternoon round. 

Rates in my area top out at $350. Average is probably $45-90 for morning rounds.

Northeast Iowa. Weekend rate with a cart is $40-50 for 18. That includes several munis and semi-privates courses as well.

Northern Alberta. The two in city courses 18 holes 52 bucks ( reduced slightly due to a couple temp greens still) add full cart and its over 85-95 bucks.

Northern Virginia and for a non-twilight weekend round at a trash course....$65   at a "nice" course $110.  

I avoid weekend mornings for this reason.  Those $110 courses on a weekday twilight are $50-$60 and thats when I'll take advantage of them.

Average cost for a good public course here is $45-60.

Alabama has the RTJ courses that can run up to $100 on the weekends if you don’t have a trail card (one time $35 purchase for the whole year, cuts the price in half every time you play).

Comox B.C. we have 7 courses in the valley, ranging from 18 dollars to 75 dollars. If you include a cart add another 20-30 dollars on top of that. The courses in the 30-40 dollar range are very good in this area and the expensive ones are unbelievable. What does it cost you guys for memberships. I paid 1600 for my yearly April to April membership which includes 6am to 6pm preferred tee times and unlimited range balls.

In our Tri-city area the weekend rate + cart ranges from $35-75.  My muni is $65.  Wine Valley Golf Course is in Walla Walla, WA which is 45 minutes away, has a rate of $155 but we are considered "locals" so the rate is $85.

I play all across Metro Atlanta and the rates vary drastically depending on the course. Local Muni is $55 on the weekend/$35 weekdays. Other nicer public options range from $60-$120.

It can vary a lot depending on the course here is southeast Michigan, my usual green fee is $29 walking and $40 in weekend early in the morning

 

I don't mind paying the 40, because the course I play the most is really well taken care of.

West Michigan.  Pretty much $50 minimum to play a solid course on the weekend.  There are quite a few in the $50-65 range.

Centralish MA here. Cheapest 18 on a weekend for me around here is around $40 and like rustopherb said $400 plus. I try to stay in the $50-$100 range depending on how nice of a course I want to play. 

My favorite course is $55 with a cart.

In Kansas City it ranges anywhere from 25 to 75+ depending on how nice you go
