7.5 handicap

Currently play Nickent 4DX IW 20°

Most important thing about a hybrid for me is being able to shape the shot either direction.

Workability. Being able to control left or right shots. I've had mine so long because I can control it so well. Also love ease of solid contact from less than ideal lies.

What is the most important thing to you in a hybrid: Consistency! Ive hit many brands and models of hybrid , the most frustrating thing is on the course i never seem to have hybrid consistency.  Almost identical shots from fairway and never consitent rather drawing or fading, shot placement and unpredictable distance.

TaylorMade Rocketballz Stage 2 rescue 3 hybrid. 19 degrees.

With a hybrid dispersion is the most important to me. But second, a hybrid is closing the gap between my 5 iron and 3 wood. According to multiple rounds with Arccos my fairway finder is just above 50%, GIR is a merely 16% and while my smart range is 221 to 257 with my current hybrid. After reading about the Tour Edge hybrid sounds like they have the right club to increase both GIR and Fairway Finder percentage. With a high swing speed I am looking to find a hybrid that can more consistent with my swing.

Use :Arccos: for all clubs. Love the feedback and caddie options the app provides.

Handicap 3.8

Hybrids in play: Cobra King F7 16 and 19 with Aldila Tour Green X Hybrid shafts.

The most important thing for me in a hybrid is trajectory and workability.  I want it to come in mid/high without ballooning and a neutral bias so I can work it a bit either way for long approaches or long par 3s.

Current Hybrid in Play - Taylormade Rocketballz

The most important thing to me in a hybrid is that it’s got to be easier to hit and get up in the air than a long iron or a fairway wood. It truly must be capable of launching the ball high in order to hold greens. Hybrids have become my go to clubs on tight tee shots and many par 4 approach shots. It’s got to be stable and provide the utmost confidence that the ball will not excessively fade or draw.
