Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI’ve used the regular TP5 before. It’s a unique ball. I prefer it over the TP5x. I picked up the box because I think the AVX will be leaving something behind, whether green side or off the tee.A few 100 yarders out in the yard today. Love the trajectory and feel so far. golfish!
I was playing Chromesofts but I played an entire round with a TP5 this past week and really liked the feel and performance. May be switching over with some additional testing. Interested in your in depth review. RickyBobby_PR
Played with a guy that was using these on Saturday. He didn’t use the technology behind them at all. He played the ball based on the fitter he went to for his clubs recommending the tp5x for his gamer and he picked up the pic version. I didn’t really pay attention to his putts but it didn’t make tracking the ball in the air any different Shankster 1 Quote Driver: PXG 0811 X+ Proto w/UST Helium 5F4 Wood: TaylorMade M5 5W w/Accra TZ5 +1/2”, TaylorMade Sim 3W w/Aldila rogue white Hybrid: PXG Gen2 22* w/AD hybrid Irons: PXG Gen3 0311T w/Nippon modus 120 Wedges: TaylorMade MG2 50*, Tiger grind 56/60 Putter: Scotty Caemeron Super Rat1 Ball: Titleist Prov1
adamflowers
I am loving the new TP5 Pix. As for as the actual ball goes, I love the compression: it feels like a great middle-ground between soft an hard. Feels like a rocket off of all club faces. The spin around greens is exceptional, too. As far as the "Pix" design, I have found it helpful in lining up putts; nothing revolutionary, but an easy way to judge the accuracy of your strokes (you still have to be able to read greens, though!). I also like that it is easier to tell your ball apart when playing in a group. I have found, however, that the patterning makes the ball harder for me to see in the rough! For only this reason, I am considering moving to the yellow TP5's. ParFore74x
I really like how the TP5 feels off the putter. Solid feel and the distance from strength of stroke seems very predictable. Arccos tells me it is the best part of my game.Just a few putts inside with it. Has a nice medium sound/feel. Nothing spectacular but not like hitting a boulder. I’ll add to it when I get them on grass. aerospace_ray and GolfSpy_APH

GolfSpy_APH
Overall love the TP5 ball. Great feel, distance control and everything else. It is pricy compared to the Arizona Z stars for me which play a big part, however! The older TP5 Pix has gone on sale for half price and lower so that's been my go to ball for this season so far. Will be interesting to see how you fair with it and how you liken it to some others such as the Z star. Does price play a part in your reviewing it? Shankster
Bought a box of the Tour B X, I will be playing a round on Monday, and a little work outing on Wednesday. Got some short game practice in today with the TP5 Pix. So far it is wonderful. I do believe the battle will be close. The Tour B X felt exceptionally well off the wedges. Just a smidge firmer than the TP5 Pix. If I get faster with the Super Speed maybe I’ll throw the -V1x in the mix.
