Indoor putting simulators????

Ok. So I bought the Ping putting cradle when it came-out and it gave some numbers. Great. Now what?!

Then I bought Blast Motion when it came-out some years back on the recommendation of my Teacher at the time. Said we’d use it and he’d take numbers and give me putting help. Here I am with Blast and had ZERO coaching with it!

Now I have the indoor putting mat my wife gave me for Father’s Day, but there isn’t any tech associated with it... So I keep putting, but am I getting better?! Who knows.

I have the PuttOUT trainer too, but has it helped my putting??? Can’t quantify it...

We have Rapsodo, Mevo, SC300, SkyTrak, etc, etc, etc, ALLLLLLLLLL for the full swing.

 

Is there ANYTHING FOR PUTTING INDOORS to get better that has statistics, data, etc? No, not Quintic, or SAM... Something for home use?!

 

So aggravating. The ONE aspect of everyone’s game that would be the most beneficial and we “got nuttin’”!!!

Any ideas????????

The only thing I know of is the Exputt. MGS did an article on it last year. It seems to be fairly new, I want one but I’ve been waiting for an official review before I drop a few hundred bucks on one.

Exputt would be your only option unless other than the simulators you mentioned.  Harry said it worked pretty well but the one thing missing is depth perception.   Looking at a 50 foot putt on your television just doesn't look 50 feet.

They received one just prior to the shutdown.   They didn't review it as part of the putter mat testing and as far as I know it is sitting in Harry's office.   We just started going back to do testing so everything is behind schedule so I don't know if or when there will be anything official on the device.  I'd love to bring it home and give it a try.

I looked up the page on the Internet, and then saw some YouTube videos. Looks pretty interesting! Would be fun to give it a try, especially to gauge how it helps in real life.

If there’s one thing I wish I had at the beach right now it would be an indoor putting simulator! After we’re off the beach, hanging in the condo.... Would be perfect. How much is the EXPUTT??? Let’s take a look....

Something like the EXputt would be great on the road as well. If it were raining, and I couldn’t get out to play, I could hook-up something like this and practice in the hotel....

Woah, I had no idea any of these things existed! I'm sure the numbers from the XPutt are useful if you know how to use them, but alas I will continue using the plastic cup that came with my son's first plastic set.  Also my office carpet has some decent grain to simulate our local Bermuda greens.

If this isn't fate then I don't know what is.

I think the mods might have found, by default, one particular forum member with a huge interest in testing this, and motivation to do a good job at it

I have seen that,  but with a length of 10'4" it requires a fairly large amount of space.
