Hilton Head July 19 - 24

Just booked a stay at Sea Pines resort for next month.  Any spies in the area that would want to play?  Probably only playing one or two rounds as it's more of a family trip.

Likely going to play within Sea Pines as they are running some promos so the rates are much better than normal.  

Let me know if interested or if there is anything I should know as I've not stayed within Sea Pines before.

Ok - I think I can likely get out for a couple rounds.  I've heard good things about Old South as well as Palmetto Dunes-Arthur Hills Course.  Any others good value or things I should think about for someone who might know the area well?

I haven't played Harbour town, but have played Heron Point and Atlantic Dunes a few times each on trips in HH.  I love Atlantic Dunes, Heron I find to be kind of unspectacular.   Just last week I played the Arthur Hills course and really enjoyed it.  I thought it was fun and forced you to play a lot of different shots.  The RTJ course at Palmetto Dunes is about 8 holes of mediocre design, then it gets really good on the back 9.

Sometimes you can get ridiculous deals on the Sea Pines courses if you are staying there with a Stay and Play package, but if you are playing rack rate I would look at the Palmetto Dunes courses.
