aerospace_ray
I agree looks don't matter. But I have not always felt this way. Until recently I would have disagreed and emphatically argued that looks matter with the putter. However, that was before my acquiring a Odyssey TT #10 (its got those lines). Never have I had the consistency I have from 5, 10, 20 feet that I am experiencing with this putter. I have stated in other threads how the TT lines simplify for me the alignment of the putter head and I just trust the roll. I use Aim Point for green reading and in the past my challenge was trusting the putter from longer distances to get the ball to my intended point on the line where I anticipated break or a spot in front of hole for straighter putts. Just my experience with a not so good looking putter IMO. cnosil
Middler
Looks probably shouldn’t matter, but not everyone can stomach a putter that’s downright ugly in the eyes of the owner. Buddy of mine has a LAB Directed Force 2.1, there’s no way I would buy one on looks alone. He’s just an average putter anyway, but maybe he’d fare worse with another putter... I have one of those and the flat work.. I have started to change my mantra about putters. and looks are mattering less and less.. cnosil 1 Quote Driver: Callaway Paradym Triple diamond 10.5 Ventus black TR 6x 3 wood ; Callaway Paradym triple diamond 15 degree, Ventus black TR 7x Apex UW 19 degree, Ventus black TR 8x Utility Iron: Mizuno Pro Fli Hi 4 utility, Ventus blue HB 90X Irons: Callaway Apex MB 5-PW, KBS $ taper 130x Wedges: Callaway Jaws Raw 50, 54, 58, KBS $ taper 130x Putter: Wilson Staff TM22, hand torched, KBS cutter putter shaft, Super stroke Pistol GT 1.

I absolutely cannot stand looking down at a mallet or something with a ton of offset. To me, the best putters ever made always have been with the heel shafted blades (8802 style) or Bullseyes. Anything after that is just meh to me. Quote "I suppose its better to be a master of 7 than to be vaguely familiar with 14." - Chick Evans Whats in my Sun Mountain 2.5+ stand bag? braincramp
There's only one club in my bag that I have to love the looks of, my putter. I know it's dumb but it's just the way it is. If the putter doesn't fit my eye, I can't play it.
