 ... On the par 58 executive course, southwinds golf course in Southgate. 7 over, 65 not too bad I should say. 

Took my son for a little outing. 

Had a lot of fun, I had plenty of up and downs to save par, and the putting was great.

Congratulations!!  Maybe I need to find a similar course... shoot my age, and get that over with so I can get back to normal golf.  However, I might have to play that course for several weeks to make it happen!!!

The course is less than a mile away, and I honestly play there maybe once a year, maybe I need to play there more often.

Lol. I ready the title and was like oh yeah I just shot a 66 on Thursday. Same thing though, executive par 61 course. Was a great deal of fun though and great practice.

It was a fantastic day for Par 3s, I don't get to play so many in a round, but I got to say I really enjoyed it, I tried different approaches to my tee shots, from using tees to just putting the ball in the ground, as well as different clubs with different lengths in the back swings, just to get some practice in different scenarios.

66 on a par 61 was awesome, congrats.
