Brand New Callaway Epic Flash 9* with Hazardous Shaft

Recommended Posts

Was at the local on course Pro Shop yesterday and they had these on special. $699 down to $349.

We had $150 in our account from winning comps so went down this morning and had a hit. Very impressed and at the price was a know brainer. Plus I have 3 shafts for my Fusion that use the same adapter so it makes like easy.

I am in the process of changing my swing so it is taking some time to get used to the new my Epic driver but I have to say I am really impressed. Currently has a R 65G shaft fitted and I hit several drivers on the weekend 250-260M which considering how wet it is here, is really good.  Really impressed with how it performs with off centre hits, my guess is that I would be lucky if I loose 5M and are yet to hit a hook which has always been my bad shot.

Once the changes to my swing become more consistent I will change the shaft and see what happens. I have 3 shafts for my old BB Fusion, 2 stiff 65G and 1 X-Stiff 100G.

I have the Sub Zero model and I love it.  It's a solid stick and like you said, off center hits don't hurt you as much as some other clubs out there.  I have the HZRDUS Smoke X flex and love the ball flight I get with this thing.  It's funny, I am not brand loyal but I am starting to get a lot of Callaway clubs finding their way into my bag.  Enjoy and great deal!

Yep, the only club that is not Callaway is my Cleveland SW. When I bought it it had a HZRDUS Smoke R flex but I noticed some damage, unfortunately the shop did not have the same shaft available (they had them on special) so ended up with a Tense shaft.
