To each their own. For some people baseball is boring in tv as is basketball, soccer and football while for others it’s exciting.

To each their own. I actually enjoy watching golf on tv and find other things like football to be a drag. I think that a lot of it has to do with what a person is really "into". Golf is one of a couple of sports that I really enjoy following in depth so I feel like I get satisfaction from seeing it rather than reading about it.

Out of curiosity what’s boring?

Have you been to a pro event? If so how does that compare to on tv?

This kind of ties into the Latest No Putts Given episode.

With social media people are looking for more instant gratification and as a result instead of watching on TV they are more likely to just scan the internet for interesting tidbits.

I think the feature group aspect of golf will be its future. Drone will be added and you will see 18 hole coverage for all groups. Want to watch Tigers while round, Dechambeau hit drives, watch the range; hear player caddie interaction or just watch a particular hole; it will be as simple as switching channels to what you specifically want to see. Advertisements will always be on the screen and will also occur while players are waking to their balls. Basically it will become just like being there and how each person watches a live golf tournament.

Eventually VR will take over and we will all be wearing headsets at home and feel like we are there.
