Is it possible for practice to be fun? Is it possible for a training to make you want to spend extended time “practicing”? Can an affordable putting simulator offer you realistic feedback on your golf game? We mean affordable as in cheaper than some of the current drivers on the market now.

Got you're attention yet?  Well Read on for a very rare opportunity!

ExPutt is an at home indoor putting simulator that offers golfers the ability to practice on a high-quality simulator that until now could only be found in a professional setting.  Does it do all the things mentioned earlier?  We are going to let four of you tell the MyGolfSpy community.

This is too cool! Never heard of it today, and won't be applying since I'm about to do Honma driver testing, but very intrigued by this! I normally putt 30 minutes to an hour a day on breaks, but would easily double that with this thing

I've had the unit for about a week, as I'll be leading the testers through it.  The first day, I spent two hours with it.  I've never spent two hours combined in a week before on putting. This is really going to be a fun one for the forum to get in on.

I practice putting two days a week for about 30-45 minutes each day

I average 1-2 three putts per round

What interests me most are a few things:  the ability to learn a putting stroke length based on distance of the putt that could translate from the game to the course. The  possible portability of the unit, meaning taking it on the road with me when I travel for work and using it in the hotel. Another are the “games” that could be played between multiple folks, and finally, the statistics of the putter’s stroke itself. Knowing the path, the face angles, etc, and using these to improve the stroke as a whole.

This is super cool and definitely something to keep an eye on. Good luck to everyone that applies. I don’t normally practice putting with the exception of putting down the hall to an imaginary hole but this could change that. Can’t wait to hear what the testers think.

I practice putting once or twice a week. Typically before or after a round on the golf course practice green for about 30 minutes or until I reach a set goal or complete a drill. 

I might have 1 or 2 three putts per round.

This seems very interesting as I have an Optishot2 and you can't putt with that at all. I like simulators and one just for putting seems great. I also travel for work and get to take customers golfing so my clubs are usually with me. Seems like this would work out well in hotel rooms too. I think I would get a lot of practice in that way. I never heard of this system but I will be researching it momentarily !

Prior to a home remodel about 2 hours a week. Since closer to 30 min a week.

Normally 2 3-putts a round.

I really would love to see how the distance mode works. I struggle putting from outside 15 ft so would love to practice that without needing 15ft of green haha.

Being able to see the face path?  Way cool.  Seems like distance control would be tough do.  There’s so many variables in a 50 foot putt.  How do you account for that on a 12 ft mat?

I practice putting about 2 hours a week between the practice green at my club and my living room. Usually short 20-30 minute sessions, this thing could definitely change that.

According to ShotScope data, I 3 putt 1.8 times per round. I’m a solid putter, but my average holed putt is only 2.6 feet.

What intrigues me about this system is the data it gives you. If it is accurate, I could be learning about my stroke while playing a game with my wife & kids. It seems to bridge the gap between practicing and playing a game very well and that could make for some good practice and more of it!

It's very realistic and only takes a few putts to forget you are on a 2'6@ putt.  This will be touched on very heavily in the reviews.

Usually once a week at the course right before I play for about 15-20.. Being honest.. 

2-3 3 putts and the occasional 4 put, with anything over 15ft scares me due to distance control.. 

The opportunity to get real feedback that you can't get on a carpet or lawn. As well as the real data to show where I am going wrong..

@Golfspy_CG2, since you have had a chance to play with it, does it allow you to change green speeds? I play public courses and have only seen speeds above 9 once. Or does it have just 1 green speed and that's all..
