Testers Announced (4) ExPutt Putting Simulator

Recommended Posts

Jimmy/Newark, CA

1-2 times/week for 10-20 minutes (4ft ruler)

2.5 3putts/round

I'm interested in the feedback I get from the device.  Putting off the ruler can get a bit boring  If I can drop those 3 putts, make more of those 5-6 footers, I'll finally be able to break 80.

Driver: Cobra F9

Irons: Mizuno JPX EZ Forged (2016)

Wedges: 48 Callaway Mack Daddy; 52,56 Cleveland RTX

Putter: Taylormade Redline Corza

I would love to try this, I putt at least 30 minutes a day with my 13 year old son.  This would be better than our automatic bounce back cup.

Before each round for about 1/2 hour.  I play 3 times a week

too many, 4-6 a round

I want to be a better putter.  When I manage to putt well I score well.  This looks to be a way to really improve the visual learning for me.

2 hours per week, at course and on my putting mat, two or threes times a week

1 at local course, but when I go to another course 2

I am data driven and technically  analytical, technology works or can work for anybody, no matter the skill level.

ExPutt could actually help my putting woes!  Would love to be a tester.

I practice putting 30 min/day at home with the Perfect Practice from OHK.  Then another half hour/week at the course.

I 3-putt 4-5 holes per round.

I practice and play a lot but my putting is what has not improved.  Although I practice putting, it is on a flat surface with no breaks and not that challenging.  When I get on the course, it is a whole different ballgame.  This looks more realistic to actual game conditions and I think I would use it more as a result.

Thanks for considering me.

1/week for about 30-45 minutes (all the time I have currently in the basement at night when my 2 year old sleeps)

dropped from close to 4 down to 3.25 this year with some putting mirror practice for the first time ever

I really like the ability to see face angle information ... it has been awhile since I was fit for my putter specs so I would be interested to see if perhaps some modifications to the putter are needed

I might not be very good, but I walk and play fast!

How Often do you Practice Putting and How Long?

I practice two to three times a week, either at the course or at home on my putting mat.  I'll practice anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on whether I'm at home or at the course

How many 3 putts do you average per round?

I average three 3 puts per round.

What interests you most about Exputt from what you have seen or read?

I am most interested in the swing data (face and path) and if knowing the data will help with improvement.

Do not practice putting except before a round.

I 3 putt 3-4 times per round. Distance control on putts over 24 ' is my problem.

I think from looking at their web site this product/process would help a number of people. Very COOL & interesting. From reading their "more info" I would expect distance control and putter path would only get better for me.

Looking forward to reviews as I know I will not be selected. Not in the IN group.

Practice putting on average probably 2 times a week for 30 min each. With Exputt being at home that could change significantly.

Average 3 putt per round is probably 1.6

What interests me the most about Exputt is that I could really practice putting at home.  I would be able to practice more often and effectively.  Being at home might also help get the family more interested in golf. The fact that Exputt will allow me to practice on a wide variety of slopes and green speeds sounds really interesting.

I practice putting about a hour a week with the puttout tool and puttout mat. I use the eyeline putting mirror as well. Pre round about 15 mins on putting

I probably average just under 2 , 3 putts per round

I first saw the Exputt on the 59 awards post and it intrigued me. I can work on alignment and roll with the puttout, but I wonder is Exputt can help with speed control? Also, it’s HOT in Houston during the summer so training indoors is a bonus

Normally I practice 10-15 minutes before a round, and occasionally 1/2 hr or so after a range session.

3 Putts?  Any is too many, honestly, about 4 per round, almost never 4 putt unless hole placement is weird.

Most interested in working on 4-5 footers,  I have great distance control , but blow too many 3-5 footers.  Analyzing consistently what I do with the putter face, and applying it would be a big "strokes gained " benefit.  Exputt seems to be the best way to do this at home.

This would work wonders for my putting.

About 30 minutes once every week or two.

5 or 6 a round

Help  show me where I can improve my putting and lower my scores

Pre-lockdown - 15 min before rounds. once or twice a week I'd work on chipping and putting for about an hour.

Last 14 rounds - 2.7 three putts per 18. High 6(!), low 1. Does not include my putts from the fringe which would make the number go up.

The face path/impact angle feedback and the portability interests me.  I'm also interested to see if this can help build some excitement for putting and reinforce putting fundamentals in my 4th/5th grade boys. Personally, my main issue is and has been distance control.  I'd be interested how that element of the game would translate from the ExPutt to the greens. Specifically how much time is needed to transfer that muscle memory to a visual cue.  I bought a new putter recently and think I have noticed trouble with path and face angle at impact - but I have nothing empirical to back that feeling up. I'm stabbing in the dark trying to find/fix the issue. The putter has a weight kit and I would experiment with the impact adjusting weights has on my stroke and ball striking to find the "best" setup for me.

Never tried a simulator..sounds interesting.

Testers Wanted (4)

Is it possible for practice to be fun? Is it possible for a training to make you want to spend extended time “practicing”? Can an affordable putting simulator offer you realistic feedback on your golf game? We mean affordable as in cheaper than some of the current drivers on the market now.

Got you're attention yet?  Well Read on for a very rare opportunity!

ExPutt is an at home indoor putting simulator that offers golfers the ability to practice on a high-quality simulator that until now could only be found in a professional setting.  Does it do all the things mentioned earlier?  We are going to let four of you tell the MyGolfSpy community.

I practice almost everyday mainly distances from 10 feet in.  I average about 3 or 4 3 putts per round..  Exputt seems to have the assistance that I need to make it no more than 2 putts per round

I have an all Titleist bag irons and driver.

Practice? Not the game, practice. None. With limited time I have to practice I tend to focus on iron play. Week before big tournaments will spend 2-3 hours that week on putting. But that is it.

Only average 1 (or less) three putt per round at home course. Will have 1-2 when travel to different course with different green speeds.

The ability to practice this with realistic results at home is very interesting. Hitting the same 6-10' putt on a mat in my house would do very little to help when it comes to actual rounds. Also being able to adjust the stimp speed of the simulator to match either my home course or the course will be traveling to is very intriguing.

I don't practice putting as much as I should, I'd say it's ramped up a bit since quarantine started and I purchased a perfect putt mat and ramp, maybe a few times a week for about 20 minutes or so from varying distances

I probably have a few 3 putts a round

What interests me the most are the metrics, I'm very data driven and would love to see info about the face and speed of my putts, plus it seems like it would be pretty fun to have a couple guys over and do the 9 hole putt challenge.
