fixyurdivot
https://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/workday-charity-open/field.html So did Bryson flip the nitro switch this past week because he wasn't in this week's event - and was getting short on cash? Koepka and Cantlay are back in the mix. As is Nick Watney - nice to see he's OK. One of Thursday's best pairings is Day, Koepka, and J.T. Who's your pick this week? Will it be one of the top 20 or will someone from the heart of the pack win? Team Fix is looking a little puny this week, but things haven't been great with a near full squad reporting, so we'll see. Hopefully Phil can put a complete weekend together. https://www.pgatour.com/competition/2020/workday-charity-open/leaderboard.html PMookie 1 Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Evnroll ER5v Official Review) AI-One Milled Seven T CH (Currently Under Product Test)
Mtbryant01
With the course demanding a solid second shot into the small greens, I'd look at guys with solid iron play. Here are three guys that aren't necessarily the favorites, but in my eyes, could win it. 1) Joaquin Niemann - T5 at RBC, had 3 good rounds at the Travelers. Ranks 19th in approach to green. 2) Marc Leishman - slow start since the restart, but has had a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finish this year. I see him rebounding here at a place where he's had success. Ranks 1st in approach to the green. 3) HV3 - I like the dude and his swagger. Has shown he can go low at the Charles Schwab. Hasn't broken through yet on tour, but would love to see it soon. Also throw Joel Dahmen out there just because I'm a homer for bucket hat dudes. daviddvm, fixyurdivot and den748 3 Quote Cobra Connect 5 participant G410 Plus, w/ X stiff 75 g Project X Evenflow Black shaft driver / Radspeed w/ Smoke RDX Blue 70S shaft Big Tour 3 wood/ 5 wood w/ Fujikura X F3 60S shaft 4 Hybrid w/ Project X Catalyst 80S shaft Copper MIM Tour Irons w/ KBS $ Taper Balck 120S shaft Snakebite 50, 54, and 58 wedges w/ KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 125S shaft Newport 2.5 putter MTB X golf balls RH, Alabama

I'm surprised he hasn't racked up more victories thus far. Somewhere in some thread some time back, you'll find me having said "keep an eye on this Niemann kid", he's got some top notch skills and is going to be a weekend regular. fixyurdivot
Holy Smokes. Did anyone happen to hear the explanation about why Watney, Frittelli, and McCarthy were grouped together and what the plan is should any/all make the cut? There is a chance any one of them could be playing solo on Saturday or Sunday. I don't get it. They tested positive, any symptoms have passed, and the 10 day period has since passed. But they keep testing positive and now asymptomatic. Better hope this dosen't become a trend or it will really cause some scheduling challenges. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2020/jul/09/pga-tour-golf-covid-19-positive-threeball-workday-charity-open-frittelli-mccarthy-watney Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Evnroll ER5v Official Review) AI-One Milled Seven T CH (Currently Under Product Test)

Mtbryant01
Impressive round by Morikawa after missing the cut at the Travelers. Taking a week off to regroup and regain the form has worked so far. I think I saw a 9 on a par 5 from Bubba and a 9 on a par 3 from Palmer. This course can change a round in a second. I also like how next week at the Memorial, the rough is supposed to be even thicker. It’s already causing problems for a lot of these players. daviddvm, Kevin Kikkert and tony@CIC 3 Quote Cobra Connect 5 participant G410 Plus, w/ X stiff 75 g Project X Evenflow Black shaft driver / Radspeed w/ Smoke RDX Blue 70S shaft Big Tour 3 wood/ 5 wood w/ Fujikura X F3 60S shaft 4 Hybrid w/ Project X Catalyst 80S shaft Copper MIM Tour Irons w/ KBS $ Taper Balck 120S shaft Snakebite 50, 54, and 58 wedges w/ KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 125S shaft Newport 2.5 putter MTB X golf balls RH, Alabama

FrogginBullfish
Anthony Kim not playing professional golf is one of the bigger disappointments in recent memory for professional golf I'd say. He was so much fun to watch when he was healthy. But yeah I just don't think Spieth is helping himself any right now. Nothing he's doing is working and it's getting a bit sad to watch him struggle so hard at it. Step away, declutter the mind, rediscover the love for the game and come back when he's ready. How long that is, I don't know but I'd rather see him step away for a little while and come back even half the player he was than continue as he is now. Not as long as Anthony Kim, I hope.
