2. Yes, I've used the Garmin Approach S60. I also use the GPS Tracking on The Grint, Golf Logix, and 18Birdies. 

3. I use a combination of a laser range finder (NX7 Pro Slope) and 18 Birdies and cross reference them with course markers.

Have previously used garmin gps devices and S4 watch.   

I work in tech so understand testing / feedback needs.   Play at least twice a week.

I've used just about every downloadable GPS app.  

I currently use a Bushnell Phantom (with bite) which has been my favorite method for distance measurement so far.

 Current method to determine yardage is a Callaway Rangefinder with Slope.
